Went for lunch on the spur of the moment. Excellent service and the best Tuba Niçoise I have ever had. Copious portions and a very attentive and friendly server

Convenient, comfortable and decently presented food. Have had breakfast and lunch, both of which were satisfactory.

We had the good luck of staying at this place for one night and it was worth it. The lobby was beautiful and there was a live jazz band playing so we listened to that while having a drink the lobby. The room was spacious, elegant and beautiful. Ditto for the bathrooms in the lobby. They were almost as beautiful... More

Having lunch under beautiful murals and restored gilt was a treat. The service, menu and finally the creative dishes were delicious. This is a step above hotel restarant right in the middle of the historical lobby.

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
