This was our second time coming to Bourdin and both times we enjoyed the foods, the service, and the view of the Fisherman's Wharf. We liked the fact that the restaurant offered a free museum tour while waiting for our reservation. The price is really reasonable considering the views, excellent foods and superb service!

I love a seriously tangy sourdough bread and this was perfect! My husband got the clam chowder in a sourdough bowl and I got the sourdough fish tacos. The tacos were so excellent! The chowder was ok, not the best I've had but the bread bowl was wonderful! We had to go back after our walk on the wharf to... More

So neat to watch the bakers turn sourdough bread into many different animals. The sourdough was excellent. The sandwiches, pizza and chowder were delicious. Pricey, but location is everything

Before you get there, you can smell delicious hot, out-of-the-oven bread!!!! We had breakfast there before going to walk on the Golden Gate...The sourdough bread bowls are delicious with anything that you put in them! My friend had the sourdough Belgian waffles with bacon, berries and whipped cream! Delicious!! We ate on the patio which was very nice!!

This restaurant has the best sourdough bread bowls with clam chowder. I've tried many. The chowder here and at Scoma's is by far the best. You can eat inside or outside in their fenced in patio or just buy some delicious sourdough bread. They also make it in a variety of shapes, like turtles, rabbits and even huge alligators. The... You are paying for the atmosphere upstairs because our food and service didn't even come close to the charge for the bill. The view is as good as anywhere else on Fisherman's Wharf and while the bread is good too, sourdough isn't a rare delicacy in this city; it's quite plentiful. The atmosphere is neat, but just expect to pay... More

Ate here several times on our trip for lunch and breakfast. Sourdough bread and claim chowder were great.

Stopped by for lunch on our exploration of Fisherman's Wharf on a mission to sample clam chowder in the famed sourdough bowl. Both the chowder and the bowl were delicious. As tourists, we also appreciated the attached gift shop which had a better than average souvenir selection themed around the bakery.

After leaving the craziness of Pier 39, we took a chance and walked into the large Boudin restaurant. So glad we did. Yes -- downstairs had the obligatory gift shop, but I must admit that the items were unique and delicious. Go upstairs to get away from the crowds. Raw bar, pizza counter, cocktail bar, and great seating with fabulous... More

Boudin's Bakery and Cafe offered a gift shop as well as bakery goods--various breads, cookies, and muffins. My sister and I had a light supper--I had the delicous clam chowder in a sour dough bread bowl, and she had a chicken salad sandwich. The servings are quite generous. We ordered at a counter and then picked up our food at... More
