First visit to Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco. Arrived after 22hrs from Oz. Stumbled in for dinner and made very welcome. Seafood great. Service by Tyler friendly and efficient. Went back a few nights later and greeted by Tyler with the same friendly service as were all the other clients. Staff very friendly and obliging. As for the seafood. What can... More

This is home. My home town favorite over the last 25 plus years. Consistent service and nice proportions. I bring family, friends and business people here always.

I have been going here for years. The freshest and best seafood on Fisherman's Wharf. Not a "tourist trap" like some of the larger name restaurants in the area. Great chowder, oysters on the half shell, Dungeness crab, and seafood pasta. Very busy, but staff is great. Family owned.

When it comes to seafood I always go to Sabella and Torre. I've been going there for over 15 years and the food and service are always the same, great. There are a lot of places to eat at on this part of the pier however I've always gone to just this one. The food is delicious, the prices are... More

If you are going to Fisherman's Wharf, you have to stop here! Noisy, bustling and great food await you. We ate here twice in three days. Clam Chowder-awesome. Oysters fantastic. Surf and turf wonderful. Bartenders Paul and Ed took great care to ensure that our meal was served quickly and prepared to our satisfaction. Sit at the bar and enjoy... More

We ate here 14 years ago and it was on our must see list. They have been there for 80 years. The restaurant is small and behind the street vendors. Service is good and we enjoyed the seafood we had. Price also seemed fair.

Overall it was good, might not order again unless super hungry. Regardless, fresh seafood was a strong plus. $8.50 for a sandwich and a "free" concert down the road to enjoy the sandwich was not bad.

Sounds like you had a pretty good time, Nathan. I'm glad you enjoyed the fresh seafood, but I would have loved to have known what you felt was missing from the sandwich. Hope you'll give us a second visit, and let us know your comments when you do. Best, Tom More

Sabella and La Torre has been in its spot on the wharf since I was a child, and they are the same as they always have been. I love getting a whole crab and a bread bowl of clam chowder, and then walking out on the pier to eat it. Just lovely.

Sabella is known for its great seafood. It's been around for quite awhile and locals know it to be one of THE places to go when you want good seafood and especially good clam chowder. You always have the option of eating inside the restaurant or they have a stall directly outside the restaurant, along with all the other seafood... More

My husband and I saw the crab salad on a roll in the exterior display and thought it looked good. After being seated, we asked about the sandwich size. Waiter said that the sandwich in the restaurant was twice as big and enough for 2. That was the first untruth. 2nd untruth was that there was a lot of crab... More

It sounds like we could have left a much better first impression, and I would like to sincerely apologize if you were mislead at all in regards to our portion sizes and menu items. We should have taken the initiative to see how you guys were doing and ask if you’d like to add anything else to your order. When... More
