Homely but noisy

Finally one of the not so salty clam chowders I've had during the trip. The bread was lovely but the fried stuff not so. Tad dry though. Service was prompt and not overbearing.

We were visiting SF for the weekend and thought to try a seafood restaurant away from Pier 39. I wish we had not! The portions are too small and it's overpriced. I don't think any of the fish restaurants on that block are tasty or are worth what they charge. The only positives are the bread and the service.

The outside of the eatery was very appealing with chances to purchase food ad eat it right there. If you want to come inside and enjoy a cocktail or a private table the Host is very inviting and offers the menu to peruse. On entering and choosing a table of our choice, our server came right over and took our... More

We arrived late (for us) to the wharf and wanted seafood - happened up this little gem! We were seated and served promptly - great service, great food! YUMYUM

We were there 2 nights and ate there both nights. Sat at the bar and the owner (I think he was) waited on us both nights. He was so sweet and remembered us which was always nice. Had chowder bread bowl and cracked crabs both nights, go good.

Very good seafood! Prompt service. Prices are reasonable. I had grilled prawns. My wife had seafood pasta with prawns. We recommend you try this restaurant.

Enjoyed our 1st meal in SF here with the kids. Good feel for this touristy section of SF. Delicious chowder, crab was so-so. Service a bit slow but friendly, not a big fan of the carnival hawking to get you in the seats at the wharf but goes with the territory.

We're glad our clam chowder got to welcome your family to San Francisco! It seems like you came in during a busy time, so sorry if the service seemed a little slow. Probably realizing it was your first meal here, the person you spoke with just wanted you to experience the Wharf's scenery from your seats, but I apologize if... More

Enjoyed fresh seafood wharf style. Portions are generous and food is fresh. The oysters Rockefeller were delicious and perfectly cooked. The shrimp salad was loaded with shrimp and the crab panini was fresh and flavorful. The wait staff were personable and attentive. We enjoyed ourselves very much.
