We were looking for a nice dinner for our last night in SF. I expected to pay more than your typical dinner expense but this was ridiculous compared to what we received. The quantity of food was good but it lacked flavor. The kids got the chicken alfredo and the shrimp alfredo and both had not flavor. I couldn't make... More

A great seafood place on Pier 39, we called for lunch. Fairly busy and we more than happy to sit up at the bar. We had chowder in sour dough bowls, oysters and a couple of Anchor Steam beers. Perfect for our first day in San Francisco.

It's ok. I got the seafood pasta for lunch. Came with a cup of clam chowder, it was ok. I had chowder the day before from boudin and it was better. The seafood pasta was in a red sauce. It came with shrimp, clams, oysters, and squid. The food was only ok to me but the service was good so... More

First time in SF and after two days of trial and error, low quality over priced food in tourist trap restaurants, we decided to have lunch here. What a pleasant surprise! I had the best clam chowder ever! Restaurant does not look fancy at all but the food was great! Will come back!!!

After wandering from Union Square after my cable car ride downtown, I finally ended up at the Wharf. I looked at all the menus and settled on Sabella & Latorre. Wow was I impressed. I ordered the dish with sauteed prawns and scallops. Left off the crablegs becasue I wasn't into getting messy that night; and I added a side... More

Such a terrific restaurant! It is not spacious, but the service is terrific and the prices are very reasonable. If you love seafood, order the crab louis. You'll end up with an entire crab!!

So I arrives for business in San Francisco and had an afternoon to kill. I have headed to the wharf on prior trips just to dig into some good clam chowder. Each time I try to find a different place and by chance this trip's choice was sabella. This was the first time that I headed into the restaurant but... More

This is a nice little restaurant, staff are friendly and the food was good. We had the clam chowder in the sour dough roll which you have to try at Fisherman's Wharf. The kids menu was better then most restaurants we went to in America by have not just burgers and mac n cheese.

Just visited San Francisco and Fisherman´s Wharf, the second time for me. Walking around (Me, wife and two adult kids) we went by SAbella. My wife felt that it looked good so we went in. While the food was good the overall experience suffered mainly for me becaus the booth we were in was unpleasantly small (I am 178cm) I... More

Very casual atmosphere. The guys out front are like carnies, yelling, " come on inside, fresh seafood" etc. Once inside the service was pleasant and efficient. The food, including fish and chips, shrimp cocktail, crab, and chowder was very good and reasonably priced.
