I remember this area of Fisherman's Wharf to have good seafood. This place was crowded. A waiter was beckoning for people to come in as others left the restaurant. We sat down at a table that needed a good wipe down, as did the sticky menus. The wine was way over priced; the crab and vegetables were overcooked and tasteless.... More

While I know things can get busy around here, I'm surprised to hear that the table felt uncomfortable. If brought to our attention, we would have been more than happy to take care of that for you. We have a lot of history here, so to hear that we didn't live up to the Wharf's reputation certainly is disappointing. While... More

Stopped by this shop to purchase a quick morning meal. I ordered the clam chowder after seeing someone with a pint of the seafood soup. It was OK! The cream base is not that great and I expected more crab meat, but I it was mainly just cream. At 9.24 with tax, It definitely should have more meat! On my... More

Like I said on Yelp, I'm disappointed the clam chowder didn't impress. I look forward to your next visit -- I know the lobster roll will knock your socks off. Sincerely, Tom More

Good food. Very small and crowded. We were lucky to get a table. Server was just ok. The bisque was very good. It was actually filling shouldn't have ordered a meal. It was a small bowl that came with the meal. Should have just ordered a large bowl because by the time I got to the crab cakes, I was... More

Like I said on Yelp, I'm a bit disappointed your experience was average. It's great that you enjoyed the bisque, but I also want my team to always provide stellar service. I hope to welcome you back for another chance to truly impress. Sincerely, Tom More

I had 2/4 oysters and they broke it in front of us. We also had crab sandwich and New England Clam Chowder and each item on their menu were tasty. They don't have a lot of space to eat. There are only 2 small tables by the side walk where you can stand and eat, but we walked across the... More

The food here is good. I use clam chowder as a comparison food to other seafood places and their's is average. It is still a good stop if you are looking for a bite at Fisherman's Wharf

While I wish the clam chowder could have been a bigger hit, I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of the food. Thanks for giving us a try while on the Wharf -- I hope to welcome you back soon. All the best, Tom More

The entire wharf area was quite crowded on the Sunday evening we ate here, but we were seated quickly and had good service. Our waiter was helpful in selecting dishes that represented the local area, and I especially enjoyed my salad with crab, prawns, and shrimp (he was right, it's a lot of seafood to eat, but delicious). You definitely... More

Not gonna lie, the cartoon fish on the menu gets me every time. It certainly was busy Sunday, but I'm glad you got a chance to sit at our table. It sounds like everything was spot on, so thanks for stopping by while visiting the Wharf. All the best, Tom More

My wife really wanted to eat a fresh crab in Fisherman's Wharf in Frisco and that's exactly what we did before our Alcatraz tour. It was delicious and fast. I wanted to sit down inside but we were on the run and they broke it up for us and we were off. It was a bit pricey but she wanted... More

My wife and I stopped here for a few beers and dinner while walking through the Fisherman's Wharf. Sabella & La Torre is located right in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf.
