Went here for lunch as exploring Haight-Achbury.. Loved the sandwiches, loved the music, loved the atmosphere 😊 The cafe is really small but sitting by the windows enjoying it all was just perfect today 😊

When asking for restroom in advance of my drink they said I had to order first before they would give me the key. Was a line of 5 people so I think thats really bad customer service.

Stopped by here for lunch while exploring the area. We all ordered sandwiches ( 2 Chicken, a BLT with avocado and the special roast beef.) Very tasty and fresh at a reasonable cost. We ate outside and enjoyed the street activities.

We tried a 'special' sandwich and some pastries. We liked it. It's not clean in the place but i also didn't really expect it there though. The guys offer good range of sandwiches, freshly-made juices and coffee.

Warning: I'm a tea, not coffee, drinker. So, maybe the coffee here is out of this world. The tead is generic bagged tea and the pastries were nothing. They did offer some vegan cookies.

Love this place. Easy, wonderful people, tables and chairs outside. Fab! And Goodwill is right around the corner for some fun shopping too.

This café was very inviting from the outside, and I stopped there to get a drink, use the bathroom, and plan the rest of my sightseeing. They had lots of options, like fresh squeezed juices, and a good variety of coffee syrups. The girl behind the counter reminded me of a hipster Marisa Tomei and she was good at keeping... More

Small litte place on Cole. Service was fast and efficient and my veggie sandwich was really tasty. Not much more you can ask for!

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighborhood Profile
Haight-Ashbury
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighborhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
