the BEST genera' tso I have ever had, hands down. Crunchy and amazing sauce! The rest wasn't too bad either- the family dinner meal was only 10 for each person and we had enough for another meal later. AMAZING place, so glad we looked it up on Yelp and went!

I found Yan's while at work on Columbus st. I ordered the chicken and garlic sauce and it was exceptional. The lunch special from 11 to 3 was well worth it . The special come with 2 spring rolls or 2 dumpling for $7.00

Quaint and run by a husband and wife. Decent seating, and the classic Chinatown dining experience. Good greasy food, very friendly service with a smile. I would definitely eat there again.

I stopped in here for lunch. This is a hole in the wall place in the Financial District and not quite in Chinatown. The ambiance is basic and I was served by a pleasant lady, likely the proprietor of the place. The 'small' shrimp and tofu soup turned out to be a steaming bowl of delicious soup loaded with tender... More

This is a clean, very inexpensive mom and pop Chinese restaurant on the edge of Chinatown. It serves freshly cooked food that is fairly standard but good. We were looking for something simple to tide us over until late New Years Eve and it fit the bill, but I long for someone to suggest great moderately priced places with more... More

Best food and value in chinatown. Food is made to order and service is fast. Combo plate gets you an entre, rice, and app for $5.99

Great portions! Great people! We had cashew chicken and general Tso chicken and they were both excellent. If you want great Chinese in china town look no further. Also great prices.

We had just arrived in SF and were looking for some good chinese food! We parked and started wandering around china town and before we even got there we stumbled upon this small place. They were closing soon but the couple who owned it let us in. They are cash only, so make sure you have cash on you. I... More

For $5.99 get a good meal (I had the garlic chicken), two egg rolls, hot tea, and including rice. Only eight tables with two workers. The cook and the hard working lady does the rest (including phone orders). Both are very nice. Beware of other Chinese eateries in Chinatown. Some will not tell you the meal does not include rice...
