We wanted to eat where we could look over the bay and enjoy good food. Here you get both with 5 stars. The food as you would expect is very fish, crab based and you may not have a large choice of vegetarian options. But don't let that put you off, you will find the staff and ambience make for... More

First we noticed the smell...so amazing. Then we saw the bakers making bread bears and alligators...that was neat. We just had to go in and get the clam chowder in a sour bowl. Very good!

We ate at the Wharf in San Francisco. The quality of the food was excellent, but the value for the money was not there. The grilled cheese sandwich was tasty, but tiny for $9 with a tiny bag of blah potato chips. The shop was clean and the food was served quickly. The employees were like robots. A smile would... More

OK maybe it's wrong to order pizza in this location but I really fancied it ...and it was good. Tasty and well cooked, just big enough to satisfy you without making you feel too guilty. Cool bakery!

Loved the food , the show baking, the shop and staff. we sat out next to the log fire as it's quite cool at breakfast time. So glad we walked a few mins from our hotel to this lovely bakery.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting Alcatraz, a family of 3 teenagers & 2 parents. We were told we would have a 15-20 minute wait but were given a pager and told admission to the Boudin museum was free. We entered the museum but a table came up very quickly, under 5 minutes. Our server was pleasant and we... More

Enough said. It looks exactly as pictured. It is creamy and delicious just as it should be. The rest of our party ordered sandwiches which were good but not exceptional. For people that have a hard time chewing food, I would not recommend the sandwiches as they are made with the sourdough bread which can be tougher to eat. Service... More

Not bad, not bad. Typical SF seafood. OK service and nice atmosphere. Just nothing special to remember eating here.

I went in expecting the typical cafeteria style Boudin experience. Upstairs is a first rate restaurant with a terrific bar, great friendly sit down service with a great menu and a good wine list. Don't worry the bread bowls are available upstairs too. The only thing that wasn't perfect were the Sourdough Gnocchi. This are a little stiff compared to... More
