Best bread

At Fisherman's Wharf a good restaurant. Try the Sourdough Breadbowl, a must, or the Sourdough Baguette Burger. Anything with their bread is a good choice.

I also recommend the Oysters at the bar. The waitstaff was great and very attentive to filling drinks, talking up with conversation and getting our food served quickly and looking good too.

There's never a stop in San Francisco for us that doesn't include getting a sourdough bowl of clam chowder from here!! It's the best!! The last time we went it was really crowded though so we went upstairs to eat. We had an amazing view from our table but the server was really busy so things like water and tendering... More

My friends and I dined at the Boudin bakery upstairs restaurant...the food was excellent . the waiter recommended the halibut which was excellent. One friend had lobster Mac and cheese which was OK, another shrimp linguini which was also excellent.. We also shared the spinach artichoke appetizer with crab meat and that was also excellent... Our server was pleasant and... More

Yes, it is somewhat touristy, but the food here is good and it is worth a stop. The soup bowl is certainly filling and welcome on a cool evening and the views of the bay in the morning are lovely. The coffee is also very good and the morning baked goods are a tasty option. I also had a bit... More

Outstanding clam chowder in their sourdough breadbowl. Oh, a must have calamari appetizer was so light and crispy, perfectly made. The Dungeness crab cake was mostly meat with a little filler. It was a bit moist, using a mix of claw and backfin. Could have used more lump but overall a good cake. Not up to Maryland Crab standards but... More

The Crabs Benedict here is SOOOOO good! Definitely stop in for breakfast one morning if you have the time. Even my 3.5 year old loved them, and barely let me eat any of it myself! We also tried their chocolate croissant, which had lovely thick chocolate inside. One of their gooey sumptuous chocolate brownies, and a sweet tart raspberry bar... More

Stopped in here for lunch and wine after sightseeing and was not disappointed. The bread bowl is a must. It's just one of those things that you have to try if you are in the area. If you get a table by the window you can get some good views of the water while you eat. You can also eat... More

Im not sure if we just went on a bad night or it was because we were a little younger than most of the other customers there and didn't look like we fit in according to the staff?? (we are in our early twenties, and had just finished the Alcatraz tour so we might have looked a little wind swept!),... More

This is part of the work famous Boudin sourdough bread fame. Upstairs is more of a sit down and relax time I like to sit at the bar during happy hour and eat the pupus
