On the corner of the street, good service, good quality food, reasonable price. Excellent ambience. It was nice to feel the city and watch the cable cars go by.

For the last 3 mornings we gals have enjoyed breakfast at Roxanne's. This quaint little cafe is busy so there may be a wait. The service was great & the breakfast menu offers many Yummy Treats ! This is a good choice for good food & a unique San Fran experience ! Yes, I will return !

This place is pretty disorganized. Getting seated is a hassle as tables are not cleared quickly, no place to leave your name, you just have to stand around and wait. Service is slow and inattentive. They seem to have constant problems with their credit card system so be prepared to pay cash. Food is OK, not great and the prices... More

On our 4th night after 4 days of much walking, we could not decide where to eat. Originally thinking of Chinatown, we were undecided after reading several reviews of restaurants here. So we started walking and stumbled upon Roxanne which I thought was a diner on Bush, just a couple of blocks down from our hotel. While I love diners,... More

We stopped in our last morning in San Francisco, just for coffee and pastry. We'd had a good dinner here the night before, and remembered enjoying the place several years ago when we were in town. This morning our waitress was rude, the mocha was hot chocolate, my latte had a spinach leaf floating in it, and even tho there... More

I had their eggs benedict with the salmon and it was super delicious! Their potatoes are also really good - maybe the best I've tasted. It was a little busy and the employees were running around the whole time but the service was still decent. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice big breakfast.

We grew tired of spending $80 for two people to have eggs and coffee at the Fairmont so we decided to check out the area for a different option and came across Roxanne's. I expected it to be quite good based on the menu descriptions but it turned out to be standard fare keeping in mind we didn't try the... More

Good food, quaint atmosphere but the wait staff wasn't in a hurry nor were they friendly. Kinda of a bummer. This place could really do some business if they cared a little more.

My husband and I came across this café as it was very close to our hotel. We had breakfast here and it was great. The food was well prepared and very tasty. Good coffee. It is a small restaurant and the servers were very friendly. We were there on the early side so didn't have trouble getting a table. I... More

I continue to experiment with the "4" and "5" rated restaurants in downtown SF. This one deserves its "4" star rating. I had lunch here (polenta appetizer and chicken parmigiano); both were prepared perfectly (the pasta with the chicken was al dente...just like I like it --- i.e. not over or under-cooked). No complaints about the meal. As others have... More
