Busy little restaurant. We had breakfast here. Food was good, with reasonable portions. Not inexpensive.

We stayed a week in Nob Hill and ate breakfast here daily. There is a very European buzz about the place. We have particular culinary needs and were never disappointed. It was usually busy but we could always get a seat, order exactly what we wanted and with the minimum of waiting. The tasty food is reliable, good value and... More

After a quick walk up Poxwell Street you work up an appetite, and Roxanne Cafe is a good place to refuel. Went for the Tuna Melt sandwich after it was recommended by the waitress, and I was not let down! Service was nice and friendly and the location simply superb! Great place for a quick lunch, I will be coming... More

I've visited San Francisco many times over 30+ years and frequently used Roxanne's as a breakfast spot because of its convenient location and fair price. It's on a corner spot with a good view of the Powell streetcar; the dining room has a bit dated feel to it, but it actually makes me feel comfortable. In the most recent visit... More

After walking to my work site and bavk a wanted to eat close to my hotel. I stopped in at the corner restaurant to get a salad. I got the cobb which was good but there weren't enough greens but tons of real bacon.

Just had breakfast here. Felt like I was an inconvenience to the staff. I ordered an omelette. No offer of choice of toasts that were listed with it. No check back to see if everything was ok. Whilst there a family came in and the waiting staff were all over them. I left feeling angry that I paid a tip... More

Great Mahi Mahi but small portion of fries. They had Peroni on tap which is great and some good vegetarian dishes as well.

My family has always relied on Trip Advisor reviews while traveling but Roxanne Cafe was a loser. We went to the restaurant for Breakfast (having tried Hollywood Cafe the day before, we were on a TA breakfast high) due to the proximity to our hotel. One of the kids ordered the $10.95 continental breakfast...a small bowl of fruit, a Costco... More

A short walk up Powell Street to the corner at Bush will lead you to Roxanne's Cafe-- and the walk is worth it, as is the wait! All four of us were thrilled with our choices. The coffee was very good also. We will go back next time we're in the city!

Even though this place was packed we were greeted immediately and seated within 2-3 minutes. I watched as they strived to get their customers seated as quickly as possible. In addition the food was just outstand, portions right sized if not a tad too much and the prices were reasonable. Definitely would go here again.
