To be sure......

Tired after a days hectic foots logging, we decided to eat nearer to our hotel and this popped up in the top 1% of TA venues. I am no longer a pub goer, much less an Irish pub fan, but it was in a nice neighborhood and in an impressive building. Despite the high ceilings it manages to be... read more

Arrived shortly after 5 PM and the place was very busy. Dining tables were available and we were seated right away. Place is very noisy, but in a fun way. People talking, laughing, just having a good time. Server was there immediately. Took drink orders and returned very quickly with excellent drinks. I drink Bourbon and it was "brown", not... More

In love with their lamb sliders. After slogging through the crowds around Union Square, it's a perfect retreat to pop in for a pint and the sliders. The restaurant can get packed (DO avoid St. Pat's day), so a bar seat is almost always available.

I always seem to end up at Foley's some time during each visit to San Fran. Great place to meet up with friends and the beers are all poured perfectly. Pub atmosphere with little areas to sit with friends providing a classic European pub feel. It's always loud, welcoming, and consistent with the vibe of a fun pub. Evenings usually... More

Nowhere near the "pretty parts" of San Francisco sits a beautiful Irish Pub as if plucked and transported from the old country. Beautiful decor. Wonderful ales on tap. And delicious food that won't break the bank. Listen closely for that wonderful Irish accent and traditional Irish music playing in the background.

An appetizing menu, cheery wait staff, and good food made this place an ideal venue for a casual business lunch with colleagues. The bangers & mash were splendid, as was the apple pie to follow, and of course the beers were excellent.

Met friends here for the dulling pianos on a Wednesday night (Dec 30th, 2015). Not SF natives, it took hubby and I a while to realize that we needed to be in the 'basement' for the show rather than the main part of the pub...we noticed, however, that the upper section looked cosy, inviting and was packed (a sign we... This place is extremely big and noisy, but the have tried to make the atmosphere a lot better by setting up dividing walls. Food took forever to come, so plan to have plenty of time, and expect atleast one extra round of drinks to be necessary. The food it self was ok, but nothing more. Except for the desert's, they... We stopped in for a quick bite since it was close to our hotel. Food and service were both good. It was a little pricey but that would be my only complaint.

We were there New Years Eve and New Years day for lunch. We sat at the bar, where the service and food were excellent.
