Great service, lovely food made with fresh ingredients. Very cheerful and relaxed atmosphere at least at lunch time. Good children's menu and great beer selection. What else can you ask for?

When we arrived to this pub it was full but the 20 minutes wait worthed it! The service was fast and efficient, the waitress was friendly, kind and ready to promptly reply to our requests. The food was really good: the chicken was perfectly cooked and served on sticks with a delicious sauce, the staffed potatoes were really tasty and even... More

Foley's did not look the most inviting from outside but once inside, it is a very big old style pub. The atmosphere was very nice and the food extremely tasty and well presented.

We popped into John Foley's on our last night in SF. The place was hopping, so we had a 20 minute wait. No problem. The restaurant was large, but dividing walls gave you the sense of a small restaurant. The only downside we found was that it was noisy. Our meals were excellent (I had bangers and mash, my wife... Quick, observant, professional staff and unexpectedly good food at very reasonable prices. I made a point of personally congratulating and thanking the manager.

Local pub near our hotel to get a bite before our plane ride home. Pleasantly comfortable, homey food, good service.

Being Irish we usually do our best to avoid Irish pubs and restaurants. We decided to try Johnny Foley's and where not disappointed. We called about 7 in the evening and the place was really busy, we had a group of 6 and where seated quickly. Menu choice was excellent with the only problem was making a choice. Food was... More

My husband and I stumbled upon this dueling piano bar, which was just a block from our hotel. The piano entertainment was great and we had a lot of fun! We got there early and enjoyed some appetizers and drinks before the music started. The food was ok, but again, they were just appetizers. Our waitress, who seemed to be... More

Went here twice during a 4 night stay in San Fran. Food was reasonable and well priced, service was average. The menu had some great options like bangers and mash and a classic fish and chips. Atmosphere was excellent, lively and fun. The bartender was friendly and helpful. A great place to go for dinner or a few drinks. If... More
