Just had the best veggie, goat cheese panini of my life here

The panini was incredible. my mom and I were in love with it. My sister ordered a salad that she also enjoyed. Her boyfriend ordered a hamburger which was mediocre.

The waitresses and bartenders make this a comfortable place to stop in for a pre-meal cocktail. Their collection of Irish whiskeys is notable. The seating is varied and plentiful. It just seems like a fun place to unwind after a day of city shopping.

I come to San Francisco for work quite often and stay near Union Square. John Foley's is a must. Friendly staff make you feel at home when solo or make sure you have a good time ad a group. Great cottage pie and a good selection of brews.

The bangers and mash and the buttermilk fried chicken was awesome (the kids loved it). Friendly service; fun atmosphere.

We had the most amazing time at Johnny Foley's. We paid a $10 cover charge and they have a two-drink minimum for each person at a table and it bought us some really good music (dueling pianos) where two piano players/singers play requested songs all night (for a $5, $10 or $20 tip) They also poke fun at people who... My wife and I visited San Francisco and we wanted to give this place a try. My wife said it was very good, I tend to lean towards an 'Average' rating. She had the Irish stew, which she said was very good. I had the fried boneless chicken breast and thigh with mashed potatoes/gravy, coleslaw, and snow peas/carrots. (It was... More

If in the area, you must stop in for a pint or a bite. Food is fabulous... Stews, pies, better than in Ireland! Guinness draught of course... Harp as well. God bless Johnny Foley's !

Trying hard to be "typical irish pub". Slightly run-down place, not a very warm ambiance, but one-of-a-kind. Not cheap: USD 7-10 for a glass of beer. Decent pub-food, decent service, and cosy-noisy.... Nice to visit once......

This is a lively Irish themed bar and restaurant that has a great selection of draught beers and talented bartenders that will expertly make your favorite drink. A great place to go and relax after work.

Absolutely beautiful food, couldn't fault it in any way. Great staff, great service and clean. A bit pricey for food and drinks but the best food I've had in my 3 city visit.
