Upscale pub atmosphere. Recommended by our hotel for a quick drink. Bartenders and waitstaff so efficient, they are well dressed in white collared shirts and ties. Lots of TVs to watch sporting events. We watched the Home Run Derby. I wish we could have gotten a seat a bar but maybe next time!

I absolutely loved it! Went for a couple of beer with my mum and brother on our last day in San Francisco and it was great. Too bad I discovered it late, but I will definitely come back. There's a great band playing classic songs from Tom Petty, Patsy Cline and many more. Very talented. I totally recommend it. Good... More

We were in San Francisco for business and went looking for a place to eat at 8:00 PM on a Tuesday night. Unfortunately, everything was packed and was at least a 45 minute wait. We stumbled across this place, and while also busy, we were able to get a table right away. I had the 9 oz filet with their... More

Nice bar, with bar menu, but lacked the blarney, maybe too early in the day. Handy for a beer near to Union Square.

We really loved Johnny Foley's. It's an Irish bar, with a genuine pub feel to it. Service is good and prices very reasonable. The food is wholesome and tasty pub grub and the drinks at a similar price to other bars. I enjoyed the Irish cream ale and a local brew, but there could have been a more eclectic choice... More

sort out this pub to see the duelling pianos. We had a delicious dinner first. The waiter was very attentive despite a very busy night. We then next door to watch 2 young men on teh duelling pianos. Very entertaining and a fun night out.

The restaurant has only been open for 15 years (so said our server) but it feels like it has been there as long as the building....in a good way! You walk in, it feels warm and inviting. The staff was courteous and helpful with our daughter. The menu is just the right size and reasonably-priced. Best yet....it tastes good! We... More

We arrived in San Fran about midday after a 12 hour flight from New Zealand and upon the recommendation of a friend from home went to see the piano duellers at Johnny Foleys in the evening. The best show we have seen for some time and we had a thorughly enjoyable night out and the three pianiosts on stage can... More

This is an Irish pub and I didn't expect much for the food, but it was surprisingly tasty & good! I had the kale salad - and it was excellent. You can get basic pub food, or go a little more sophisticated. Huge selection of beer. Only downside is that was extremely loud - so loud we had to shout... More

Nice selection of lunch choices. The chicken panini sandwich was good and fries were great. Service staff was very friendly. Would recommend as a good choice for an informal lunch.
