Terrible coffee and the price

The price is higher than Starbucks , the coffee taste is so bad , I trashed them away , can't even drink. If it has zero , I want to rate them zero.

Always terrific and fast service. For those who want them, a surprisingly large number of pastry and food choices, Nice outdoor seating for pleasant people watching.

They know how to make my soy mocha to perfection every time. The only disappointment is that they are so good at what they do, there is always a line to place your order and receive it. Guess it's better than an empty place, as those scare me off.

I knew Alfred Peet in passing because I knew one of his good Belgian buddies. I liked him personally in spite of his delightful humanity. His shop and coffee chain ois a different matter: I Love Peet's Coffee wherever I find it: Portand, Seattle, San Jose, Chicago, and so many other places. It is the continuing equivalent of Seattle's old... More

Peet's coffee is hot, rich, and caffeine-filled. One cup of Major Dickerson's Blend or Sumatran and a piece of pumpkin bread for breakfast and you are good to go for the rest of the morning.

If you like peets coffee then you have to check this place out. It is the original peets that started it all out. It has a seperate room detailing all the history of peets.

This coffee experience is what others strive to achieve. I think Starbucks owns them now. Original to Berkeley, CA. Do you like your coffee full-bodied?

Had lunch at Peet's while attending a conference at the Claremont hotel. The staff were friendly and the food was great. I order a salad and my companions order sandwiches. The salad was good but next time, I will order a sandwich, because it comes with a sizeable salad for about the same price as the salad only. The cafe... More

my beef with peets is that their brewed coffee is much too strong and their lattes can be bitter. peets has almost as many locations as starbucks. peets has a wide selection and, wherever you are, the staff is unfailingly polite. i do buy peets beans, which i prefer lots more than starbucks,' which has better pastries.

Bay Area folks swear by Peet's and can hardly drink anything else. Brace yourself, if you are used to the pale, weak version of java. If you get hooked, then everything else will taste like airplane coffee.
