Our first morning in San Fran we went to fishmans wharf to pick up some trip tickets. We asked where was a good place for breakfast and got recommended to here. It was convenient, good quality food, great service and reasonable priced. We'll be going back again... and again!

Stayed in a hotel across the road where breakfast was half as good and twice as expensive. Lovely French toast with sausage and egg and a very good breakfast burrito. Two happy customers.

We were heading to do the bike the bridge and stumbled across this diner. Usually I avoid anywhere that has pictures of the food in the window, but it was busy and we were welcomed in by Joanie. Friendly service, good food, great coffee and a good price.

Recently had breakfast here while visiting the area. I had the pancakes with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream. Came out just like the picture and tasted even better. My teen son had the fish tacos and said they were the best he's ever had. Came here based on TA reviews and also recommended by the folks who work at the... More

We stopped in here at the suggestion of our hotel. We asked for quick and casual but not a fast food chain. Joanie's was a perfect pick. Casual cafe with a counter. I had a egg and cheese sandwich on wheat with added avocado and my travel partner had an amazing looking omelet with lots of veggies. Service was great... More

I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict, it was soo yummy. Their french bread is good, could use a bit more cinnamon.

What a great find. An unobtrusive little diner about 100yards back from the harbour side at Fishermans wharf not too far from the Holiday Inn (golden gate bridge end). We found it on our first morning...I had buttermilk pancakes with sliced strawberries, a blob of whipped cream and maple syrup! My family chose equally calorie laden breakfasts, but boy were... More

This was recommended to us by the hop on hop off bus rep.. We wouldn't have found it on our own. A great little place.. Much better than the diner chain places. Great food and value for money and an authentic atmosphere. If you're nearby call in!

We stopped by for breakfast. We all had pancakes with various fillings. Everyone enjoyed the meal, reasonably priced and good service.
