Cute little place. Excellent menu selections. Excellent service. Food doesn't disappoint either.....had a delicious breakfast and it started my day on a good note. The fruit bowls are beautiful and deeeelish. Highly recommend.

This restaurant was steps from our hotel so we checked it out for breakfast. The servers were polite and efficient (although there was only 1 other table there at 7:30am on a Thurs) but the food was average. Everything from the pancakes to eggs to waffles was just okay. Won't be back.

The sausage burrito may not be the best in the world, but it's pretty close. We split one and it was more than a meal for 2 people. Very fresh, very well done breakfast. I usually don't get excited about breakfast - actually usually skip it - but this place could make a regular of me 😏. Hash brown in... More

Great breakfast selections, delicious food, reasonable prices and friendly service. I ate breakfast almost every day and lunch one day. I love this place and it was across the street from my hotel which served breakfast for more than double the price.

My famiy (3 adults) had both a breakfast and lunch here. The food for both meals was delicious and nicely presented. The service was very attentive. It is a local place that serves breakfast and lunch. The prices were very fair and there were good menu choices. We were very pleased and can see why the locals frequent this restaurant.... More

We've eaten a few times over the years at Joanie's. It is a one minute walk from the Courtyard Fisherman's Wharf. The service is friendly and efficient. The brunch food is good (we haven't eaten anything from the other menus). The portions are huge - two people could easily share an omelet. Nice lattes and great kids; breakfast menu.

Recommended to us by a tour guide, not always the best suggestions but on this occasion he was spot on. Small, tightly packed tables seating only a couple of dozen. Many locals and many tourists. Service was excellent, very attentive never an empty coffee cup. The variety of breakfast meals on offer was great, the presentation and portion sizes was... More

I was traveling with my wife Joanie so we had to go. One of the best breakfasts ever. I had the eggs and hash browns. If you love hash browns you go to go. Good price.

Seating is tight and limited, but the food and service are excellent. The country potatoes were just average, but my sausage/egg/cheese muffin was massive and tasty. My wife greatly enjoyed her meal (I think it was eggs and salmon). Servers are friendly and attentive. If you like local, hole-in-wall places with great food, you must try Joanie's!

My wife was in the "Escpae From Alcatraz" Triathalon and the day before we went for a run along the Bay for a final short-training run. I am a breakfast fan and she is not, but due to the run and her needing to get some calories before the event we literally ran into this place. Something about it said,... More
