Great meal, very expensive.

This is a lovely restaurant with great food and a great experience. I am a foodie and love a good meal. This will give you that. That said, it is a bit pretentious and overpriced for what you get. So be prepared to pay and pay big.

Flew in from New Orleans, escaping the heat and humidity , had the most memorable dinner at Mina's name sake restaurant , it rivaled Guy Savoy in Paris , the eleven course meal , was well thought out , the courses came together very nicely . Highly recommend it for most memorable dinner of a life time .

Load your wallet and go. It won't be cheap but it will be memorable. The food is exquisite, service is premium and the ambiance is marvelous. Make a reservation.

My best friend and I recently visited San Francisco and wanted to have a really nice dinner out, well let me tell you Michael Minda did not disappoint!!! This was probably by far the best dinner I have ever had! While a little on the pricier side it was totally worth it! I loved the Sommelier's walking around, they paired... More

This Restaurant is fantastic and delicious and a MUST do we had a four course dinner for one hundred dollars, the service is perfect, not too fussy, I dislike overly attentive staff, but this was perfect, and the food, well go taste for yourself you won't be sorry. I especially liked the soft shell crab. The atmosphere and room was... More

We were a party of three, and we had the Tasting Menu. They did this as a His/Hers, with 2 preparations for each main ingredient. We enjoyed it thoroughly, and all 2 of us got to try geoduck for the first time. Loved the adventure of that, wasn't a big geoduck fan, but I digress. The menu was truly fun... More

We had the four course dinner, each course of which was outstanding. The ahi tartare, prepared tableside was the star of the evening.

A beautiful dining room but only average food presented very well. We had a difficult and unnecessary confrontation with our waitress who refused to accept that she had poured our wine into a used glass (a different wine) and proceeded to talk about us with her colleagues and point us out in full view through the many mirrors in the... Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
