Known for the pancake breakfast, which is great, but dinners are also a great comfort food. My favorites, sundays special Fried Chicken, from the menu the lamb shops and the crème brulee

We recently stayed at Sir Drake Francis Hotel and visited Sears for breakfast as it's over the road. Had no booking, the line was outside the door but we expected it to be busy and was worth the wait! Good service and yummy breakfast. Highly recommended!

Multiple sources recommended eating at Sears Fine Food, a San Francisco institution since 1938, as a must do when in town. The restaurant is popular for their famous Swedish Pancakes at breakfast. Get there before 9 a.m. if you don't want to wait. We tried the Sidney Amber's Special and Veggie Omelette. Pancakes were indeed good and the apple sausage... More

We ate oatmeal and fruit for breakfast with a $9 price tag each. It was pretty good but a little pricey. We came back for dinner because it was convenient and the waiter was a bit stuff. It made us a little uncomfortable. Dinner was good but not something I would do again.

Sears Fine Foods, is my "standby, go-to" restaurant when I don't feel like walking too far! This past January on a Saturday morning when it was raining, Sears came in handy! Rite across the street from my hotel (Sir Francis Drake)I absolutely enjoy this place, huge portions of whatever you order and very attentive and personable staff. I ordered my... More

The place has own charm and looks interesting. The staff was attentive, although the service took bit too long. The dinner menu was correct, but not outstanding / cod fish and salmon fillet /. Rather expensive.

I had read mixed reviews about this place. I expect the people who gave it bad ratings had high expectations cause they knew abt the place beforehand and it didnt quite live up to what they hoped for. In my case, i had no expectations and a great experience, the place is old and quite cozy, food is very good... More

Five service very polite stuff. We ordered ordinary hamburger within the frame of the offered happy hours. The portion size is smaller than expected, but the taste was incredibly nice. French fry was not included.
