great service

It is right across the street from the hotel. The staff is wonderful. I had soup and a salad - best meal ever.

Sears is a mainstay of SF eateries. It is a shotgun style bar and restaurant and the service is always great. We came in for lunch but the breakfast menu was so great that three of the four of us ordered omelets. The three-meat omelet is superb. The omelet is stuffed with sausage, smoked bacon, diced ham, and cheddar cheese.... More

Best little Swedish pancakes! Eighteen seems like a lot, but they are nice and light. We had great service, all the employees were quick with a smile.

Ate here with a groupon for the 2 of us. My friend found the waiter surly in manner. Our meals were to a good standard but my friend said he wouldn't have paid full price for it. His steak and mine were cooked to our liking. .. the table adjacent were having a hissy fit about their ribeye having had... More

We had heard great things about breakfast at Sears and it did not disappoint. Amazing hash browns, and plentiful breakfast. A great way to start the day.

If you like Swedish pancakes and eggs benedicts, this is your place! We got there during the week around 9:30 and got right in. I hear the weekends have long lines! I tasted my husband's pancakes and they were good, I'm just not a Swedish pancake fan. My eggs benedict were super good, and served quickly and hot! Gotta go... More

The silver dollar pancakes are an absolute must!! The service and atmosphere are great. I'm told there is often a line, but I didn't experience much of a wait. Not sure if they take reservations, but probably a good idea to call ahead. Enjoy!!

This restaurant was next to where our hotel was. My daughter had cioppino and said it was delicious I had the Petrale sole dore and it was also very good. Boudins sourdough was offered as an appetizer so not on the table as the bread serving. In all, the food was very good, but the service not so much. Our... More

Went for a late breakfast after traveling in from the airport. Pleasant, friendly counter service and standard diner-style breakfast menu. Eggs, bacon, sausage - all as expected - nothing bad, nothing great. Pancakes were disappointing - thin (not fluffy) and kind of hard (almost as if they were made ahead and reheated to order, rather than freshly made). Expensive relative... More
