This spot was recommended by the hotel concierge. The restaurant was quaint, however, the food was just OK. We walked several blocks to reach this establishment and all I can remember is climbing the hills back!

It's a classic to SF and testament to an American meal. Portions are large, coffee is plentiful, and the line literally wraps around the the building. Expect to spend between $10-30 for two people, depending on how you order. The house special are Swedish Pancakes, but be sure to ask for the "real" maple syrup. They will give it to... More

I was told this was a great place for breakfast and the vibe certainly felt that way. Small, bustling with a big lineup outside. The eggs Benny were decent, the chicken sausage was tasty but the toast was cold. Who serves cold toast? Had to ask for coffee refills twice. I hope this isn't the best breakfast San Francisco has... Our hotel had recommended we eat here, so on our last morning we popped in. The food was great! Wish we had tried it earlier in our trip. Home cooking.

Breakfast portions were plentiful and delicious. Wait staff was very attentive. Liked the decor and setting especially the vintage framed LPs on the walls

My wife and I enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast here on our last morning in town. It gets very busy but the staff move people through quickly with little fuss. You often see a short queue at the entrance door throughout the day. The menu choice was comprehensive with a full international flavour.

There are a lot of tables inside and the move people through, but we never felt like we were rushed! The Swedish Pancakes were a novelty to try, the bacon was crispy & salty which complimented the sweetness of the syrup! BUT stop the presses, the Salmon Eggs Benedict was to die for! I have never had something so delicious!... More
