Tasty Dinner

Enjoyed perfectly cooked New York Strip (for my wife) and pork chops (for myself). My wife likes her steak medium-well, which I normally wouldn't care for. Even THAT was delicious.

This is the best restaurant for breakfast. The coffee is great and I loved the sourdough french toast!

We went to Sears Fine Foods and had a great experience in terms of ambience, food and service. It is a traditional American style restaurant with some San Francisco nostalgia. Angie was a great server with good menu recommendations.

Charming story line but the food does not live up to the charm of the story. Service was excellent though while the food was average to poor.

Came here with the kids for a late breakfast. Eggs Benedict was average, kids menu stinks...no breakfast items, so, the kids end up with $15 pancakes...not bad, just not great either.

We had a delicious breakfast here our last morning in San Fran. The service was a tad slow, but the food was filling.

Sears Fine Food serves good food, better than chains (like the close by Cheesecake factory), but not fine dining, in a building with a lot of vintage charm and appeal. If you are a waiter or waitress in San Francisco, you should apply here because they need you and I think are busy enough that you would make good tips... More

Oh Mr. Kim, why couldn't you be happy with Lori's Diners and leave Sears Fine Foods alone. It just is not what it was known for anymore...no pastries, no reubens (done right)...the whole European atmosphere and quality is kaput...it is gone. This is just another average diner trading on a old business name it bought.

The restaurant is very popular with an excellent location on Powell right up from Union Square. The breakfasts are always good. The restaurant is noisy though.
