Ate here for breakfast a while ago. We were told that the silver dollar pancakes were special. And, indeed they were. A great place to go with a terrific location right by union square and especially if you order the swedish silver dollar pancakes.

We ate here for breakfast three days in a row after a recommendation from our concierge and we were not disappointed. My wife and I ate different dishes everyday and each plate was delicious. The service was excellent and very speedy. A great choice.

We were staying at the Chancellor Hotel next door to Sears. We walked into Sears and loved its cozy, character-filled, back-in-the-day vibe. Sears is a busy breakfast place, but we had only dinner there, a few times in fact. For food we had salads, soups, prime rib, fish, macaroni and cheese, short ribs, and other dishes. One of our waiters... More

My wife and I have been eating at Sears since 1973 and have enjoyed every one of our (hundreds of?) meals there. Even though our favorite servers have moved on over the years the quality and entertainment value have never varied. For breakfast the corned beef hash is absolutely the best ever, and the other menu choices all compete for... More

I have been going here for around fifty years, not every year, but fairly regularly when I am in the neighborhood. They are famous for their small dollar size pancakes, breakfast is excellent. If you are staying around Union Square or downtown I would highly recommend this place for breakfast. Fast service, and refills on your coffee.

Hearty local food that is reminiscent of old style diner. Good for breakfast or lunch. I had club sandwich made to perfection.

We ate at Sears Fine Foods for breakfast. This is an old restaurant but kept up very well. It opened in 1938 and still maintains the feeling of that era. The food was very good and the service was good. Would recommend this restaurant for breakfast if you are staying around Union Square.

We got up early so had no problem getting a table for breakfast. Sears has a good menu and fast service at affordable prices. I would not stand in line for breakfast but if you can get a table quickly then it is a good place for breakfast.

We stayed at hotel next door to here and ate supper there a couple of nights and breakfast one morning. The food is real good, I highly recommend the grilled porkchop, it was so good.

This is the only restaurant we visited twice while in SF. It's like going to dinner with Fonz and all the Cunninghams :). Great food, conventional, comfort menu. Consistently friendly service and we thought it was excellent value for money in portions and price. We really recommend this for all visiting Antipodeans :)
