Amazing pastries in the Ferry building

Some of the best pastries SF had to offer. My daughter is a macaron lover and absolutely loved all of the treats. The lavender cookies were everyone's favorites

Chose 3 different ones and they are so yummy! I also grabbed some Lavender Shortbread cookies. So very good as well. There was quite a selection!

Every time I hang out in the Ferry Building I pass this place by because of the long lines. I finally arrived late just before a lot of stores closed and found no lines so I picked up a package of Walnut Shortbread Cookies, and they were great! I ate them in two days! Which is fast for someone avoiding... More

A pleasant little store in the market with plenty of macaroons and other sweet treats. The ice cream sandwich came in three flavours, we tried the creme fraiche and it was to die for, with a cookie rich in butter and an ice cream extremely fresh and light.

I've only been to the Ferry Building location - there the display looks like an old fashioned European bakery with great cupcakes, cookies, and many other treats. Wonderful presentation and taste!

We purchased a lemon tartlet, a brownie, a chocolate tart with sea salt and a carrot cupcake, among all we preferred the carrot cake, the brownie was to cakey for us and the lemon tart toooo sweet.

Cute little shop in the ferry building. Lots of yummy things to tempt you. I tried several of their macarons. All were great. Dulce de leche was my favorite. Want to try some of their other things next time.

Love their pistachio macaroon! The best I've had! I also tried their vanilla bean marshmallow, which is good. Some sour candies and matcha candies which are very tasty. Turkish delight is so so, I've had better. Bought a few boxes of ginger cookies for souvenir, the packaging is very nice. Staff not too friendly. Pricey overall.

We visited the Hayes location and were served by fun, friendly staff! Nothing really special to the treat we tasted- not outstanding like at Tartine but a fun stop if you are in the district.

While I only tried the palmier pastry, I highly recommend it! Delicate layers of golden flakiness, crunchy and beautiful. A request to the bakers: please jump on the trend bandwagon and serve up some Kouign Amann! I'm sure you'll create similarly perfect layers of pastry!
