I am staying in the union square district and attending a conference at the Moscone Center. This diner is located around the corner of the Moscone center. I can only provide my opinion on their breakfast. I am not a big fan of Denny's (one located directly across the street and definitely did not have the crowd that Mel's did).... more

Descent place to bring the family especially if you have just arrived in SF and don't know where else to go at the time. Quick diner type food with the 50's type atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. more

There was two of us waiting for seating. The manager seated several pairs of people before us, that had arrived after us. When we asked him when we would be seated next, he gave us a vague answer. The ambience is great; looks like you stepped back in time. So enjoy it with a cup of coffee, maybe a milkshake, at the counter. With so many great restaurants and diners in downtown San Francisco, don't bother to eat here. more
