Food was great. Had the French dip sandwich and it was fantastic. The service was slow and they weren't very busy. Also, it needs a good cleaning, saw lots of dust and stains around. Cool diner vibe, even has a car inside. Five stars to chefs but they need to give it a good cleaning

My dad used to take us every year to San Francisco for the Holidays. Every day we had breakfast there with him. Used to be in Powell and now they changed it but the flavor and atmosphere is a blast. Love the place and love the eggs over easy. Perfect eggs and perfect breakfast.

After following her around for a full day of shopping, I found my escape plan when I saw this diner on the corner. I'm a fan of these retro diners and seeing one I haven't been to before got my attention. Unfortunately, the place was a bit dirty and as the food was ok at best I found our waiter... More

Lori’s Diner located on Sutter and Powell Streets, a couple of blocks off Union Square in San Francisco is a blast from the past 1950’s style diner. We stopped in recently for a late lunch, early dinner. I ordered the patty melt and fries. My wife ordered fish and chips with cold slaw. A chocolate shake rounded out the meal.... More

Good hearty food with loads of personality. Try the strawberry malt shakes and the hot dogs- amazing! Old school friendliness and the retro feel makes it a fun meal out.

Had visited this place on a trip to San Fransisco before, but had never tried their breakfast. Although the place itself is a bit kitschy, the quality of the food is definitely genuine and the portions are more than adequate. Waitress seemed to be honestly concerned by me flying out in the storm. Good start of the day.

We went to Lori's over the holidays with a group of family. The food was good diner fare. Not fancy, not expensive, just solid diner fare. Service was good and they were able to accommodate a group of ten with no reservation.

Had lunch here twice during our stay, more out of convenience than anything else. The portions are large, the sandwiches too big to bite into, the burgers medium cooked, the hot dog spicy. It's an average place with average service and average value for money. If you have an interest in 50s themes then check it out, if hungry and... More

What a gem in the city. Old time diner atmospere. Huge menu variety and also pizza. We tried the pizza and were very impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the taste. Speed of service was excellent and prices were typical for the area. Travelling with kids and they found something to eat also. Excellent location about 1 block... More

We particularly liked their hash browns, but all breakfast items were good and service was good. Didn't go there for lunch or dinner.
