Always go back for their cookies, soups, and sandwiches - the peanut butter chocolate chip rocks. They offer day old treats at a discount.

We had breakfast over there and we loved how fresh the sandwiches were. The portions were big, bread was super fresh, turkey tasted fresh too and the coffee was great. Cookies are the best you could ever taste especially with the macadamia nuts. Enjoy!

This review is for the Specialty's 22 Battery location in San Francisco. I stopped there en route to a tour wanting breakfast to bring along but also wanting to avoid the throngs at Starbucks. While placing my order with the young female cashier (can't remember her name) there seemed to be some confusion about the items in the glass case.... More

Every time I am in San Fran I usually end up walking to Specialty's. The baked goods are fabulous and you cannot go wrong with the variety of cookies and baked yummiest here. I recently found this to be a great lunch place too. Soups and salads are fresh and satisfying. The staff could not be friendlier. I wish I... More

breakfast options were delicious but pastries and coffee were not a cheap option for a quick breakfast. Closed on weekends in the financial district.

We ate here a lot since we were on a business trip and the firm had our lunches catered. Very fresh bread and ingredients. A little too much mayo on all the sandwiches so you may want to mention that when ordering.

The pastries are great. Never completely satisfied with anything else I've ordered. Food/coffee usually takes awhile.

The bread is the star here. Fresh and yummy with lots of sandwich options. The Cobb is probably my favorite. Sadly they did away with a lot of the vegetarian options a few years ago, wish they bring the cream cheese sandwiches back.

There are many Specialty's locations in the Financial District and SOMA. We were able to order our picnic lunch on-line and pick it up a nearby stop where our order was ready and waiting for us as we headed to Yerba Buena Garden. Fantastic homemade bread for both of our sandwiches - a Reuben and a turkey-cranberry. Try a side... More

My office often has lunches catered by Specialty's and it is always a treat. I often get the Mediterranean and I am never disappointed. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are de-lish!
