Great Service and Cheesecake

A very busy place with pleasant serving staff, be prepared to wait for a table and take warm clothes if you eat outside. Macy's Cheesecake Factory is worth a visit. The cheesecake selection was vast and the ones we tried were very yummy, the process of waiting for a table was lengthy you are given a buzzer to wait to be called up, I think they lost our name as after an extended period and seeing others who had arrived after Us get... We came here for our tea. We hadn't eaten all day as we knew how big the meals are and they did not let us down! We both had a burger and phew it filled us up, we didn't get to eat all the fries, but that didn't matter as we had enjoyed our burger so much. Our waiter was... More

We stopped in on a Saturday evening for dinner but didn't have a reservation. It was incredibly crowded with a 1 1/2 hour wait. We ended up eating at the burger bar and then came back for a cheese cake dessert later. Had the peanut butter Reese's one and it was sooooo good!

Well worth the wait - great views across Union Square. There is a good choice of food on the menu and there is a great atmosphere as its busy with tourists and locals.

This place is great! It has great food, good service and fresh real food. This is not a microwave it, plate it and serve it restaurant. Their entrees are as good as their deserts. The factory meatloaf rivals my mothers. I am calorie conscious and the Skinnylicious Menu is a great compromise. They even have low carb cheesecake. The guacamole... More

Decided to eat here in first night in SF. Obviously caught the busy period as many were waiting for a table. After a wait of about 30 minutes, eventually were sat outside on a cool April night which was not so good. Food was good (you know what to expect from the Cheesecake Factory), but service was rather mixed. When... More

On top floor of Macy's - the food is as good as any other ccf (and always a ton of food is served). We got seated immediately so it was great. Too bad they didn't have my favorite cheesecake available. Still, not bad.

Loved the cheesecake, cocktails, food, view. If you're on your own, get take out and sit on the square. If you're with friends, get a table and have a cocktail. Best cheesecake in the U.S.!

We enjoyed our visit and the food came out quite quickly even though there were people waiting for tables. The decor and location are fantastic but although the food was plentiful we couldn't help feeling that it was rather bland.
