Good food, good service, the family loved eating here. I don't give it 5 stars because of the long wait for seating and no booking facility. This I understand is a problem wherever you go, shows that they have got it right.

A good experience and food was good. Cheesecake was also very very good, sooo many varieties as you would expect from the name. Had to wait for an hour as they dont take bookings only for lunch between 12 and 1. You can take a drink while you wait so they went down very well.

Food was ok. Not amazing. Service slow, but it was quite busy. The outside "heated" eating area was freezing! Wouldn't bother waiting an hour for a table here again.

As I awaited lunch, I was pleased that I chose broccoli over corn as a side dish. But I did not expect yellowed broccoli. Call it over ripe. Call it past prime. I call it as I see it: rotting. That the restaurant manager was clueless when I showed it to him, makes me wonder about food safety. At least... More

Sitting outside awaiting my lunch, I was pleased that I ordered broccoli instead of cirn succotash. My feelings changed when I noticed yellowed broccoli. Some call it over ripe. Others call it past prime. I call it spoiled, rotting. Sadly, the restaurant manager didn't see a problem when he inspected my plate. So I had him read a Google summary... More

We have been to many Cheesecake Factory restaurants over the years and the food never disappoints. This one, on the top floor of Macy's, would normally attract a 5 rating. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time before we could get a table and the service suffered a little. No doubt due to its location, this restaurant gets... More

In general the food was good, however I had meatballs with spaghetti. Although the pasta and sauce were very good, the meatballs were lukewarm to say the least. The rest of my family enjoyed their food. The orange chicken is very good and I suppose this is their signature dish. The main meal portions are enormous so beware of ordering... More

We went for brunch at10.30 on a Sunday - Macy's isn't open but the floor on the far right is to let you upstairs. And got a seat straight away on the terrace. Very good breakfast. Great views of Union Square. Left an hour later and the waiting area was a zoo of hungry people. Went back another day for... More

As the title states this Cheesecake Factory is on the top floor at Macys in Union Square San Francisco. We went one Sunday evening, can't exactly remember the time but when we made it up to the restaurant we couldn't believe the crowd, we were given a 45 minute wait time which is sort of the norm for busy restaurants.... The restaurant does not take reservations and the waiting list is long so go early. We got there at 5.30pm and were seated at 6.30pm. The restaurant 'lobby' is crowded with not much space to stand. I guess this is good for their business and also due to being on Union Square with so many tourists. A wide range of... More
