cheap and cheerful

A relaxed, no frills, fun sushi place with cheap food and a laid back hipster atmosphere. Great value for money

Fresh and tasty food at really decent price. Really nice (I believe Japanese) cooks handling sashimi desk. Very easy place where people seem to like what they are doing.

the quality of sushi was great and the price was reasonable. I bougth the food as takeaway, they were fast and kind, offering a miso soup while I was waiting.

Third year we've holidayed in SF and regularly visited We Be Sushi - same wonderful waitress who welcomed us back. Beautifully presented, fresh and succulent sashimi and sushi - wonderful!

Basic sushi without the wallet pain. Good option if you're nearby, but would not go out of the way for this. Dinner specials are a good value.

We are fans of sushi and couldn't resist going in there. Fast service, very friendly people and wonderful sushi for a reasonable price.

This restaurant is perfect for classic Mission (pre-hipster) District. The atmosphere is pretty basic. The service is attentive, knowlegable and basic. The sushi is rock solid and very well done. The prices - for sushi in San Francisco - are really reasonable. Well worth the stop for solid basic sushi.

Last week, after a particularly delightful solo performance at The Marsh by Charlie Varon ("Feisty Old Jew"), my friend and I crossed the street to eat at We Be Sushi. Before we knew it, I'd spilled miso soup all over my shirt and pants (messy and hot hot hot!!! -- completely my fault). The owner and the wait staff were... More

This place can definitely rival the poshier sushi places in Downtown SF. Their selection of Nigiris are every sushi fan's dream and their Sushi Rolls were excellently prepared. I didn't like their Uni Nigiri though as the Uni itself had a smell to it. But I definitely recommend this place!
