This is a centrally located microbrewery-pub on two large floors which is very popular and often crowded and noisy. They offer about a dozen beers on tap, mostly made on the premises. They are all well made. The food is a sort of tapas menu. We tried a few and were just OK.

Love this place. The service was just OK but my jamon and manchego sandwich was AWESOME. Got the sampler of all 9 beers and was really happy. Love the Vanilla Ale!

Went here on a Sunday night and were really surprised by the flamenco dancers and live music - excellent! The Spanish Tapas menu and beer flights were excellent. Make reservations. Highly recommended!

I went to place when a local friend told me about Flamenco nights on Sundays. The performance was PHENOMENAL. The dancers, musicians, and cantante were all amazing. The food was pretty good: I ordered quite a few tapas. They had a non-Spanish spin on them, but were close enough to transport me back. I did not care for the sangria,... More

If you are in the area, this is a comfortable spot. We were staying at the W and wanted a beer after the Giants game. Tapas are pricey. Tried an IPA with cocoa nibs and vanilla... The chef has pairings on the menu of charcuterie and beer.

Visited on a Friday around early evening. My friends and I were staying across the street at the W and wanted to have some drinks and light snacks after a day of sightseeing. The bar area was packed with a happy hour/post-work crowd. Service was pretty terrible at the beginning but as the crowd started to thin out around 7pm,... More

The beer selection was very good. The IPA was really good. A little pricey for a draft. The tappas menu was interesting but expensive. The staff was very will trained and easy to work with. I will go again and order something beside the tappas.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
