I had the crab sandwich which contained a lot of celery and green onions. The bread was nicely toasted, cheese was hard. I liked that there wasn't too much mayo. Home made potato chips were nice and crunchy, similar to kettle chips. Liked that it wasn't salted. Blueberry, pomegranate lemonade was odd because it seemed too thick to suck through... More

Made reservations for the Solistice so we could watch the sunset. Obviously, the location has everything going for it - but the food was surprisingly good. Fish and chips were lightly battered; fries had spicy garlic, and there's a full roster of home brews. Service was friendly and attentive. The food's no pricier than anywhere else in town; the building... More

We walked down the hill along the beach from the Cliff House and found the Beach Chalet. It's part of the National Park, but has awesome brews and food. There was a children's concert going on outside (which was adorable)! The food was good, but pricey! We tried the calamari and crab melt, but would try a pizza if we... More

We had a very nice lunch here. The food was of a good standard and plentiful. There own beers were excellent. We had a window seat looking out on the ocean. Service was friendly and fast.

Sister property to the Park Chalet, the Beach Chalet faces Ocean Beach and the Pacific, offering wonderful sunset views. With roughly the same fare (food and drink) with a few tweaks to the menu as the Park Chalet, patrons should choose carefully which establishment to dine at. While the Beach Chalet offers the more scenic view, dining quarters are tighter... More

After spending some time at the beach, we needed some place to warm up and eat. Lucky for us the Beach Chalet was across the street - just up from where the N train dropped us off. Our timing was terrific as it was happy hour! We sat in the bar area and had good beers, fries and salad. Big... More

While the food was okay, but nothing special, the view of the beach and Pacific Ocean was spectacular! The restaurant is on the second floor of a building on the west end of Golden Gate Park facing the ocean. Definitely a place for out-of-town visitors.

Conveniently located with parking across from the beach. We had a window seat and saw the beautiful sunset. The seating arrangement is such that everyone can enjoy the sunset. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. It was moist and had a glaze that was good too. It is served with potatoes and risotto. Salad and sides are sold... More

Situated directly across from the ocean, these views cannot be beat. Breakfast was tasty. $100 for 5 people, including tip. Eggs Benedict are really good and not drowning in hollandaise sauce. Very enjoyable meal.

Go early in the evening for less crowds, good views, and a delicious dinner with salad, vegetable, baked or mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding. I ordered the $20.00 small beef plate, and brought half of the beef home. A thoroughly enjoyable evening, and we left as the crowds began to back up. Parking is right there, but do go early!
