We visited here for lunch when our cruise was docked overnight. The food was excellent we both had the crab salad sandwiches. They were huge one between two would have been enough having said that it was so good we ate way more than we should have. My husband also had some clam chowder which he said was delicious ad... Everyone knows that Pier 39 is a carnival tourist atmosphere so we were happy to find this spot at the top of the stairs. Although on this day it was pretty windy and cold, on sunny days there is a deck overlooking the water. We choose to stay inside. The bloody Mary's were great with fresh horse radish the mimosas... Had read about this place before our vacation and found out where it was from a waiter at a restaurant near our hotel. We were interested to see it in view of its history It is much more up market than the original building before it was moved, but had a nice atmosphere and good views. It was quiet when... More

Kind of expensive for what you get. The food was good but not that interesting. The server was good but not that interested in serving us. The view is good and the bar and kitchen was fast.

So I've been to this place two times. The first time I wasn't that impressed, I don't even remember what I got. The second time I was with a different group of friends and we were at Pier 39. There really aren't that many restaurants right at the Pier, so we went in despite my hesitation. This time we were... More

Went to this place for lunch with my wife when we were taking in the sights at Pier 39. We went around 2pm and the service was prompt and the food was good. Had a slight interruption in service when our waiter went on his lunch break but the other servers picked us up in fairly short order. I had... More

We had friends come to town so we were planning a day of sightseeing, all though the weather didn't quite hold up. We started our morning out at the Eagle Cafe for a wonderful breakfast. We were there early so were seated immediately as there weren't that many people there. Service was smooth and quick. We ordered an assortment of... More
