Always stop for a little break

When in the area we always stop for a little break, most often a drink and a small meal in the outside sitting area overlooking pier 41, the ferries, and the people. Combined with the good starters this is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the view. Staff has always been friendly and service fine.

While strolling through Pier 39, we spotted the Eagle Cafe. After perusing the menu, we decided to give it a try. We opted to split the Whole Dungeness Crab (1 1/2 - 3 lbs) with cole slaw. It was a super price at $34. When the crab arrived, it lacked the vibrant color typical of most steamed crab. The meat... More

Tired and hungry from our trip to Alcatraz decided on this place, they do breakfast, lunch and tea, we had lunch. Ordered wine and a strawberry milkshake as no cider! Excellent strawberry milkshake gave me the extra that was mixed but did not fit in the glass! We both had: Clam chowder in S F bread bowl. Had to try... More

My husband just had to have fish and chips on fisherman's wharf. After looking around for several minutes and menus and what there was on Pier 39 we decided to visit here. The clam chowder was very delicious. The shrimp and Atlantic cod were very good. The location is great because on the balcony there are lovely views. The staff... More

Make sure you ask to be seated outside, the view is priceless. Perfect place to enjoy a local beer while watching the sun set over the piers of San Francisco. Service was extremely nice to us. Would definitely go back again and recommend to friends !

This is a experience about the best seafood restaurant at the best location in San Fransisco! A little bit pricey but it worths everything. The view of a restaurant is always what I value a lot. Pier 39 are is somewhere you will never want to miss in SF, and this reauratsnt offers great food, service with great view!

After Alcatraz, we walked over to Pier 39 for a snack, and to check out the Sea Lions. I noticed the Eagle Cafe upstairs, right at the start of the pier, and after walking all the way to the end of the pier, and checking out the options, we doubled back to the front of the pier and popped upstairs... This is a seriously good breakfast location. Service is swift and attentive. Coffee refills are non-stop. Let down by a single restroom for both male and female, otherwise 5 star

Everyone in our party order different seafood. It was so good, they were still talking about it days later.
