My husband had been to this restaurant 20 years ago and was amazed it was still there so on a recent visit from England we took a look. I cannot praise this place enough. I don't normally like burgers but they were absolutely wonderful! TRY THE EAGLE BURGER :) We had breakfast too, pancakes were wonderful and so was the... More

My partner and I visited on 9th October and although it may not look as posh as some of the other restaurants on the pier it was honestly the best food we have eaten in San Francisco! Absolutely delicious I really couldn't recommend the hot crab melt or grilled fish platter more and was at a reasonable price! We stayed... More

We had a very good breakfast here. The blueberry pancakes were especially nice, with lots of fresh blueberries. Each order also came with some slices of oranges and watermelon. Check out the pictures in the lobby that show how the building was moved to its current location.

In spite of many trips to San Francisco and Pier 39, I had never eaten here. With time to kill before our ferry to Alcatraz, we decided to have breakfast and this looked as good as any place-----like striking gold. To start, the Bloody Mary was on the money; a beautiful mix and perfectly spiced. Next was my actual meal;... More

..and all other foods!! Eagle Cafe has always been one of my favorite places to eat on Pier 39. Their calamari is some of the best I've ever had and I absolutely recommend it as well as the rest of their menu!

My husband and I had breakfast here and while I was really impressed with how friendly the staff is and the water view, the food was just ok. I wanted to try one of their specials so I had the peanut butter and banana French toast and unfortunately, I was not too impressed (and I promise I am not a... More

Eggs benedict to die for - crab, salmon, you name it. Huge portions, excellent quality. It's at Pier 39, but not uber touristy. It's upstairs so a little above the riff-raff!

Three words could describe this place: Corned. Beef. Hash. We ate breakfast here and the hash was the BEST I have ever had. The service was friendly and the plates were generously sized (and well presented).

Stopped by here for Sunday morning brunch. I was a little wary at first, expecting tourist tat fare & service due to its Pier 39 location but was very pleasantly surprised. The place was very busy but we asked for and got a nice position on the back verandah with fantastic views over the bay towards Alcatraz. Our brunch, eggs... More
