You aren't likely to hear about this place which is what makes it all the more special. Its a small restaurant with only about seven tables that can seat about 30 people. The place is run by a husband and wife team who care deeply about your experience. Its got an old French feel. I've eaten here three times over... More

We were welcomed by an elderly couple who seemed to run the restaurant and possibly owned it. Excellent food and service from start to finish and the service in particular was personal and very friendly - a great experience

This is a small homey restaurant with excellent food and a friendly staff. The wine list was not extensive, but well chosen. I'm there again next visit to SF.

We ate here at this small restaurant as it was close to our hotel in Nob Hill and were not disappointed. Cooking is done by a Japanese lady who has apparently been there for 33 years but cuisine is mostly French with Californian influences. All beautifully cooked with care and skill. Attentive service and good ambience. Overall very good value... More

We had a great dinner at Rue Lepic. The service was excellent and the set menu while a lot of food was delicious. The restaurant is in a great central location and being very small has a great atmosphere. The chef is lovely and when we left she literally came outside and chatted to us on the sidewalk! Then food... More

Rue Lepic is a tiny restaurant with about a dozen tables, located on Pine Street in San Francisco. There is one woman who does all the cooking and it is always consistently good. The food is top quality and the "chef's prix fix menu" is fabulous. Make a reservation before you go and ENOY!

My wife and I dine at Re Lepic every time we come to San Francisco, and we are never disappointed. It has a charming atmosphere and friendly service, and the food is always outstanding and at prices that seem much lower than comparable meals in other San Francisco restaurants.

We walked past this little place on our way to Union Square and thought it looked nice. Only regret was not stopping in earlier! Absolutely delicious authentic French food. Can not commend this little place highly enough

for stumbling into this extraordinary find. We really chose it out of desperation and proximity to the hotel. The salmon was incredible. The watercress soup was delectable. I'm still dreaming of it. The service was warm, courteous and efficient. A very...unexpectedly good experience.

Rue Lepic is a small French restaurant at the corner of Pine and Mason, a walk uphill from Union Square. We made reservations, were a little early, enjoyed complimentary wine on the sidewalk while our tables were vacated and re-set, and enjoyed an absolutely delightful dinner with almost-family from France. Service was excellent and the entrees were even better. The... More
