Rue Lepic is a tiny restaurant with about a dozen tables, located on Pine Street in San Francisco. There is one woman who does all the cooking and it is always consistently good. The food is top quality and the "chef's prix fix menu" is fabulous. Make a reservation before you go and ENOY!

My wife and I dine at Re Lepic every time we come to San Francisco, and we are never disappointed. It has a charming atmosphere and friendly service, and the food is always outstanding and at prices that seem much lower than comparable meals in other San Francisco restaurants.

We walked past this little place on our way to Union Square and thought it looked nice. Only regret was not stopping in earlier! Absolutely delicious authentic French food. Can not commend this little place highly enough

for stumbling into this extraordinary find. We really chose it out of desperation and proximity to the hotel. The salmon was incredible. The watercress soup was delectable. I'm still dreaming of it. The service was warm, courteous and efficient. A very...unexpectedly good experience.

Rue Lepic is a small French restaurant at the corner of Pine and Mason, a walk uphill from Union Square. We made reservations, were a little early, enjoyed complimentary wine on the sidewalk while our tables were vacated and re-set, and enjoyed an absolutely delightful dinner with almost-family from France. Service was excellent and the entrees were even better. The... More

Utterly charming. Menu has not changed in 33 years. A totally delightful meal that was a highlight of our visit to San Francisco. A must for any traveller who would like to experience real San Francisco.

We really enjoyed eating at long-established Rue Lepic. A friendly welcome and a choice of good tables was a good start. We shared escargots in a garlic sauce and delicious noodles indicated the subtle Asian influence in a Classic French menu. A delicious watercress soup followed. Then breast of duck and veal, both well executed and nicely seasoned. Finally, a... More

This is a charming neighborhood restaurant one block from Nob Hill. If you wish to avoid a large or tourist restaurant and you want individually prepared meals this is the place. I have been returning to this restaurant for 25 years. The owner prepares each meal in an open kitchen adjacent to the intimate dinning room. French good with an... More

Small, delicious food, only the sauces were "French", a misnomer is title. Limited wine options, very nice overall. Reasonably priced menu.

DO NOT GO HERE !!!! The owner is rude, unprofessional and don't care about your dinning experience. There service is so unbelievable slow!! My husband got his beer within 5 minutes - the rest of our party waited 45 minutes for our drinks. We are all about supporting small locale business and this restaurant has so much potential, but the... More
