Super Fresh, healthy and very friendly, welcoming personnel! I ate the salad menu with excellent tofu with daikon and seaweed salad and reasonably priced at 10$. I can completely recommend this place and would surely go again myself when in the neighbourhood.

We lunched here after browsing the entire Ferry Building market. The food, while mostly microwaved to re-heat, was really tasty and reasonably priced. We split a meal, my wife had curry soup, and we also split a couple of chicken appetizers (the apps were fantastic). They’ve got ample community seating inside. Definitely a good place at the market.

I wandered over to the Ferry Building for lunch during a concert and found a place with a long line thinking that was a good indication of a good meal. The line was NOT wrong. This place had such good salmon chowder and carb cakes that I went again the next day! Well worth a visit, food was fresh and... More

This is not epicurian cuisine. Nor is the ambience anything other than 'Ferry Building entry way'. But for a quick bite, nothing else beats it. For $26, two of us ate lunch plates with miso soup and green teas. We were stuffed, and it tasted so good. You can go to the Slanted Door down the hall and pay this... More

We stopped for dinner on our way back from a festival in Sausalito and tried this place. The rolls had more rice than anything else. I prefer to taste the fish. They charge as if they were giving you more than rice.

Had little time to spend and there was an enormous queue to be served a la carte. I opted for the freshly prepared, ready made bento boxes and sushi and was not disappointed. Seating capacity is limited, but go outside to sit on the benches facing the bay.

I had a very simple but delicious dinner. Futomaki roll, miso soup which is unlike any miso I have had and deep fried tofu. The tofu was unbelievably creamy with crunchy bonito flakes. Yummy! A bit pricey but it's in the Ferry building. Their HH looked pretty good and it would be a grrrreat date place.

i liked the fusion with californian and japanese ways of cooking. Wasabi mashed potatoes were really good! and the packaging is very japanese.

Not living near the Bay Area, when we do visit I make sure I have at least one lunch here! They have a lunch special where you choose two salads and one main item. I always choose the Wasabi Garlic Potato Salad, and try to expand my choice with another salad I have not tried. I usually end up with... More

Depending on how comfortable you are with Japanese food, this place can test your limits because it has an extensive menu that ranges from the familiar to the more exotic fare. The vegetarian offerings tend to be among the more familiar and family-friendly items, even for young diners. On the other hand, sea urchin and salmon-cheek delicacies might put off... More
