On a weeknight in mid-November when some of the Fillmore Street restaurants looked like they had room to spare Troya was busy and bustling with virtually every table filled. And no wonder: delicious food in a buoyant, friendly atmosphere. We love lamb so we naturally gravitated to the lamb dishes. First we had the distinctive and flavorful warm hummus with... More

It was a find as we walked along Fillmore street and it appealed to the two vdgitarians with me! crispy brussell sprouts were delicious and the falafel dishes were tasty and well presented. I opted for the chicken wrap which was filled with chicken and taste. Great place for a quick lunch while out shopping and the staff were efficient... More

Just had dinner here tonight after a friend recommended it. Food was wonderful! It is labeled as Turkish fare, but it is similar to Arabic food of other middle eastern countries. I had the braised lamb shank with spinach, mushrooms, and quinoa. My husband had the chicken kabob with veggies and cannellini beans (sans the hot paprika sauce). Both were... More

Had a wonderful meal here recently when looking for something fresh and healthy. Selected a few different items to share and wasn't disappointed. The food we had was fresh, high quality and certainly of a mediteranean style. A good wine and beer selection matched well to the food. Our female waitress was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the food being... More

I do not need 200 letters for this review. "The entire experience was really really good and it was not too expensive for SF city". The rest of the review is details. The atmosphere was fun. The food was fresh and flavorful. The service was attentive without being pushy. The pace of the meal was unhurried, but not boring. The... More

The menu was delightful. The ambience is nice and service adequate. The asparagus soup was pretty good, the Turkish bread (like pieces of foccacia the size of 2 small bagels) was good, but seemed expensive at $4.50. The roasted cauliflower seemed flat and uninspired - about 12 bites for $12. For the sardines I expected whole fish as I would... More

Family outing last night to this modern Turkish Mediterranean cuisine eatery resulted in a most pleasurable experience. Starting with basic flatbreads, moving through yogurt and cumin-laced small bite delicacies, incredibly savory Mediterranean style braised sardines, octopus and other plates, delicious house bread dipped in amazingly flavored sauces, to lamb and vegan full plate kebabs, and, finally, incredibly good not overly... Love the food and ambiance at this small and local Turkish fusion restaurant. This is our go-to restaurant with my girlfriends. Great staff and delicious flavors.
