Good fish and beer - with Italian touch

Hostess (imported from Milan) was helpful to accommodate six people at the outside table in very heavy traffic. Clam chowder was really good, as well as seared sea bass and oven roasted cod under the tasty but light chopped vegetable sauce. Vegetable sandwich looked delicious too (our friend had... read more

Hostess with an accent and a lousy attitude along with the tattooed bartender who waited on us. Food was mediocre at best. Could have made up with it with better service.i guess we looked like a bad tip so guess what? That's what he got. And he only got that cause I didn't wait for my change.

Overall, this was a pretty decent spot to grab lunch in Fisherman's Wharf. The food was decent (my husband had the fish tacos, I had a chicken sandwich). The portions were nice sized, the food was hot and everything had good flavor. The waitstaff was a little slow as there were only a handful of people in the restaurant when... More

This was the most delicious clam chowder I have ever had anywhere, so scrumptious that we went back twice! That's all I can say, it was the best! Fish tacos were great too!

4 people visiting SF for work. Walked over here looking for Italian and Seafood, and everyone was reasonably pleased. Full menu eating at the bar to watch the Giants in the playoffs - so that may have contributed to the electric vibe in the air. Calamari, Grill Combo and Lasagna all received favorable comments.

...on Fisherman's Wharf, with good staff and a great happy hour...the fish tacos are to die for. A great choice of beer which used to be tough in the US but is now one of the true artisan strongholds in something that for me was once a European monopoly. Would recommend a visit on a sunny day on the terrace...

We were looking for a (seafood) place to eat after completing a bike tour around San Francisco. It had been a warm day and yet there was still space on the patio. This convinced us to consider the restaurant without even looking at the menu. The service was good and the food was really delicious. The food was reasonably priced... More

Came across this place as we wondered along Fishermans Wharf looking for a place to eat about 7.30 pm. Welcomed in and seat straight away. People eating looked liked local's. Friendly and efficient waitress. Food was good, hubby had Sea bass and I had portobello risotto with shrimp. Definitely go here.

We stopped here for lunch while touring Fisherman's Wharf. We had the clam chowder and crab salad and shrimp sandwich. They all tasted wonderful. The food was great. The service was fast and it was fun to people watch as we ate outside. This is a old style restaurant that fits it's setting perfectly. No glass and chrome, but a... More

Just a few steps from the over commercialised Pier 39 is this nice, Italian inspired seafood restaurant. The food was good and reasonably priced. Surroundings are old school wood - not modern at all. Waitress was kinda sassy, which I like (don't want anything too formal). My only criticism was that the service was a little too fast for my... More
