We stumbled upon this place for some happy hour wine and appetizers. We had mussels, fried calamari, fish tacos and Parmesan fries. Everything was ok, not great but served its purpose to be washed down with our wine. Good value for money for its central location but would recommend only for drinks and maybe some snacks, nothing more.

Popped in here mid afternoon after walking from Golden Gate Bridge so we were ready for a sit down and something to eat. We had clam chowder and crab sandwiches with fries. The sandwiches were filled to overflowing with crab and were quite simply delicious and delightful. Service was friendly and efficient. Would I eat here again? Yes.

I'm not one to complain, my boyfriend and I tried to handle the situation as well as we could... But this was prettttty bad. We stumbled upon this early evening and were starving... We're not from the area so we had no idea what to expect. For starters, the caesar salad could've been better out of a grocery pre made... More

Went here for our last evening meal before heading home from San Francisco. They say you can't get a bad meal in San Francisco, but here you certainly can! I have no doubt that this place will some day feature on Gordon Ramseys kitchen Nightmares! The decor is very old, and the place is very dark...presumably so you can't see... More

Stopped here for happy hour and were pleasantly surprised. Liked the parmesan garlic fries and mussels the most. Our calamari was also good texture and flavor, and not greasy. Kids were happy with the kids meal choices and food. And unlike many other reviewers here and elsewhere, we had good service.

Had lunch here; seemed to be having a very long happy hour which made the drinks even better value. The oysters and crab were both excellent

Was recommended by our hotel concierge so we went for a beer/snack during happy hour, with the intention of staying for dinner. Front of house are certainly 'passionate' but at times a little over-whelming. We didn't stay for dinner for that reason.

Food is standard fare but reasonably priced for location (Fisherman's Wharf). The fish taco special at $9.95 for two is the best deal. Shame about the strutting hostess who 'greets' you with brusque admonitions. One example was yelling at my 84 year old mom to "be patient!" when she asked (once) if she could sit in a shady spot. Hostess Flavia is wonderful and real Italian. Owner frequently on site as well. Terrific food served quickly and you can enjoy outdoor if not too chilly. Way better quality than you expect at a tourist location.
