Fish lunch

Ate here for lunch. My colleague had oysters and then crab. Both were very good and the crab was plentiful. I had a small bowl of chowder whilst not the best I've had was very tasty. I then had pasta with large prawns. This too was tasty. Choice of local beer. Over all food was good, server could... read more

Food is standard fare but reasonably priced for location (Fisherman's Wharf). The fish taco special at $9.95 for two is the best deal. Shame about the strutting hostess who 'greets' you with brusque admonitions. One example was yelling at my 84 year old mom to "be patient!" when she asked (once) if she could sit in a shady spot. The... More

Hostess Flavia is wonderful and real Italian. Owner frequently on site as well. Terrific food served quickly and you can enjoy outdoor if not too chilly. Way better quality than you expect at a tourist location.

My husband and I went for lunch, ate outside, the service was outstanding! My husband ordered a salmon dinner although it was lunch, but did not want it grilled, but rather poached. They did it! I am allergic to fish, had the vegetable sandwich with eggplant, red pepper, avocado. It was memorable! Absolutely a great lunch, great beers on tap.... More

It is not often that everyone in our family enjoy's, and I mean really enjoy's, their meal when we go out to eat. Everyone did on this night because everything was cooked perfectly. Everyone was craving seafood or Italian and this was a perfect mix. Service was great. The food was great. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Comfortable restaurant on Jefferson amidst the dynamism of Fisherman's Wharf. I've eaten here before. Great italian style dishes including fish, seafood, chicken, clam chowder, pastas. Nice desserts. Fun, small bar for happy hour. But don't come here if you're searching for a big, noisy, touristy place. Some waitstaff better than others.

We were wandering along the wharf area early evening and stumbled on this place. we weren't sure whether we wanted to eat, so thought we would stop for a drink and glance at the menu. We asked it it was OK to just have a drink and this was confirmed as OK by the hostess. Once seated she adopted a... More

Hostess (imported from Milan) was helpful to accommodate six people at the outside table in very heavy traffic. Clam chowder was really good, as well as seared sea bass and oven roasted cod under the tasty but light chopped vegetable sauce. Vegetable sandwich looked delicious too (our friend had it). Good local beer - Anchor Steam. Prices for fish dishes... More
