A short walk from the usual hangouts but worth the walk. Sourdough garlic bread is a must as is the pasta with seafood.

We ate here about 5 years ago and made sure we made it back this year. The Cioppino is soooo good! The staff was very nice. It's definitely not a budget restaurant but it's worth it.

We liked this place. Attentive service and good quality food with a wide variety of choices. Like many places on Fisherman's Wharf, the prices aren't cheap, but the food and surroundings inside and out are great. Our server Asha was really pleasant and provided a high level of service. We ate mainly seafood dishes which were excellent and our 12... More

I went here specifically for their signature dish, the Cioppino and I have to say I was not disappointed at all. Since I am an east coaster I was eating earlier than most for dinner so I was able to get a corner table on the patio which provided me with a great view of the tourists. The weather was... More

Visited there on a recent Sunday afternoon. Located on Fisherman's Wharf this is a fun place to watch people and eat some outstanding dishes. We were impressed by the friendly staff and the good service although it could have been a little better. The food was great, I had New England Clam Chowder and my wife had mussels both were... More

When we first walked in, we were astounded by the size of the restaurant; it's huge inside! There were lots of things on the menu to choose from, which for a party of 7 is important, as we sometimes had trouble finding something suitable for everyone. I ordered the crab cocktail, which was quite pricey at $18.99, but I was... More

I had their famous cioppino that Mario Bateli said "is the best in San Francisco." It was good, but certainly not the best. For the best cioppino try Alioto's. My wife had the bacon garlic prawns and said it was the best mean she has ever had. The service is good too.

Located at the end of Fisherman's Wharf and just before Ghiardelli's, Cioppino's is in a pleasant neighborhood. The food was fine. Blackened Snapper was nicely seasoned and cooked well. The fish was a good size too. Came with average wild rice and fresh veggies cooked to perfection. My partner had 5 large bacon wrapped prawn and said they were moist... More

Great staff, accommodating our large family. Good wholesome food, and mostly clean plates. Portions sizes were good, if a little too much, but very edible. Enjoyable and clean.

This was our first time ever visiting San Francisco. The occasion was our 25th wedding anniversary, so we wanted someplace nice to have dinner. So glad we chose Cioppino's! The food was great and the atmosphere nice, but our server (Edgar) was absolutely WONDERFUL and made our dinner so very nice! We had been to several other restaurants in the... More
