Poor Service Made It A One Time Visit.

Great hotel. Poor restaurants. Didn't make it necessary to want to return. Service is lacking. Just a bit of a disconnect between being on top of their game and the guest.

Best breakfast of any luxury hotel around the world. Beautiful dinning room, excellent food options, great service.

Great ambience. Although menu is limited, it serves traditional and authentic food. I particularly liked the breakfast buffet.

The service started off normal and I was given my drink but after that it was painful to get any service. There was only 5 other tables seated and maybe because i wasn't a suit I was an afterthought. When I asked a different server for a beverage she looked as if I asked for a million dollars and responded... More

Inventive menu, great bar list and wine list. The experience was grand and intimate. They don't make many spaces that have the feel of Laurel Court. The food was great; the service attentive. Finally the piano music is a treat

Excellent breakfast buffet, although steep at $32. Eggs Benedict are excellent and appreciate being able to add hollandaise sauce myself. Enjoyed french toast, potatoes, made-to-order omelette, etc.

We were treated well and got a great buffet for breakfast. The chief made custom egg dishes and made a great waffle for me. As usual for most hotel restaurants, the price was a bit high.

We just had breakfast here, but the food was prepared well and hot when it arrived. It's expensive, but it is the only place for breakfast in the hotel. Staff was attentive.

We particularly enjoyed the cioppino and pork loin, but from the venison appetizer to the coffee that finished our meal, we were impressed by the quality of the food and its presentation, the suggested paired wines, the attentiveness of the server, and the general ambiance of this first-class restaurant. We lingered over a wonderful meal.

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
