Be prepared for high prices. Service and food were good. $28 for breakfast was way too high, though. Only food option in the hotel other than coffee bar and gift shop.

We sat for 25 minutes before anyone took our drink order then it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. The food was good. The service was extremely slow and the food & drinks were very overpriced.

The bartenders were quite professional. Plus try the honey beer made from beehives on the hotel roof

Went for lunch and breakfast. Both times were amazing. Reserve for breakfast because it gets pretty busy. Staff is super friendly.

We stopped in twice during our stay at the Fairmont. The setting is beautiful and the food was good but it was too loud for an upscale lounge. There were several guests whose language was offensive and carried across the room. It appears that that was acceptable to staff. Service was good but several tables were not cleared due to... More

I was staying at the fair not and honestly didn't feel like heading down the hill again so decided to try the hotel dining room. I was seated promptly and chose the classic French onion soup and a daily special of braised short ribs. The soup was a large portion, lovely broth that was not too salty, a nice amount... More

Nice luxury hotel restaurant/bar. Food ranged from excellent to average. And expensive of course...it's a Fairmont. Excellent Fairmont service. Disliked people in workout clothes passing by our table on their way to the fitness club via the stairs that lead to the restaurant.

Atmosphere is nice but drinks are pricey and the service is practically non-existent when we visited.

Mrs. Sothoth and I are on a hotel-bar-of-the-week tour of our adopted city, San Francisco. This is a fun place to have a drink of an evening, sit in a comfy chair and watch the tourists. Friendly service and one of the great interiors in the city.

We went for a happy hour as well as breakfast. Our server at happy hour seemed to be on "get to you eventually" mode. It took quite a while for everything, a menu, a drink, a bill, we didn't even bother getting food. Breakfast was good but not great and $28 buffet. Service in am was excellent. We preferred food...
