A staple of Fishermans Wharf for nearly 100 years. The old gal is not as fancy as years past, but there's a lot to be said for nostalgia in a world moving so fast. If you're lucky you can get a window seat so you can look at the gulls. Being a pasta lover I had to jump on the... More

We were searching for a good restaurant to eat San Francisco's famous sea food. We stumble accidentally with it, entering because it had a nice view and seemed nice. It was. The waitress was really nice and funny and deliver everything on time. The food was incredible. I highly recommend it.

This world famous restaurants is now serving a delicious lunch for under $15.00 USD. Unheard ! Hopefully a window table could be available but the view still nice from the comfortable booth seating. The food ...don't need to say much after such long existing landmark Highly recommend

Four of us went....the food was not only overpriced but not that good. My fish was greasy, the appetizer we ordered was skimpy for the price, and the whole place was overrated. The only bright spot was our server, who was fantastic. Not recommended, there are other, better places to go.

We had lunch here before the Alcatraz cruise and had a window table (#5) with a view through the marina and out to the Golden Gate. Food was good...two of the three of us had shrimp dishes. But we had a waiter, Sean, who is retiring in December and has probably been at Alioto's for many years. A wonderful guy... More

We had lunch after walking along the waterfront for hours. while lunch was pricey we enjoyed it. I would recommend this place if price is not a factor.

We had dinner hear after a visit to Alcatraz. The meal and service was outstanding. I had the crab, just steamed so I could enjoy the flavors. This was a great dinner for our 30th anniversary.

Fisherman's Wharf is loaded with good restaurants but Alioto's is a fine restaurant at a very reasonable price. The menu is loaded with everything you might expect plus more. The waitstaff is wonderful. The ambience is delightful if you enjoy viewing what fisherman's wharf is all about.
