We were staying just around the corner in Union Street for a few days and rather than journey into the tourist hubbub of Fishermans Wharf decided to stay local. We'd completed a recce of Polk Street and there was an eclectic selection of eateries but something about this one caught our eye and we were very glad it did. We... More

Loved the pork dumplings as a starter. Bun bowl was good. Broccoli and ginger pork was great. A good Russian Hill neighborhood restaurant. No need to go near Fisherman's Wharf!

This is your typical "mom and pop" business. The husnad greeted us and the wife cooked for us. The food was delicious. It was so good my family of five went twice during our stay in San Francisco. A great meal and value.

We were staying nearby and the menu in thw window looked inviting. Great, attentive service from the beginning. They actually had rice flour/egg stuffed crepes I've been trying to learn to make. Amazing! Everything we had, French-Viet blend was delicate and so tasty. Very affordable, as well as elegant. We just had to eat there the next (last) night, or... More

Most dishonest food service to customers in terms of quantity and price. I ordered Grilled Beef with Noodles, Grilled Pork with Fried Rice and Mixed Seafood. Grilled Beef for $11: 3-4 thin and small slices of beef with noodles. It was unbelievable because they put only 3-4 small and thin slices of beef. The real value of $5. After finishing... More

We wanted a quiet place and we got that. A few people in there. The choices were good but not fantastic. The ambience was great.

We ate here with a large group of friends. The service was good. The food was fresh and delicious. Everyone was happy with their meals. The prices seemed very reasonable for SF.

Rented a vacation apartment around the corner on Union and decided to try this restaurant on our first night in town. Great decision – the food was delicious, and lots of it! As there were three of us, we all ordered something different so got to try a few different dishes. All were terrific! Wish we could eat here all... More

My partner and I had been craving Vietnamese, and this hit the spot! The service was quick and attentive, and the beef pho, veg curry, and imperial rolls starter were all yum! (with a bit of extra chilly in the pho to give it a kick) We were both full, and the meals, starter and a beer came to $45... More

Aux Delices—This Polk Street restaurant has a lovely ambience but not so formal that you feel uncomfortable. The Vietnamese dishes at lunch cover a range of categories—rolls, bun bowls, grilled meats. My Vietnamese colleagues liked the food and said it tasted authentic.
