Good food and prices, the Paella and Veggie Saltado was delicious. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes next time.
I first came to this restaurant in July of 2009, and ever since then, I'd always make sure to have this restaurant in my SF itinerary. I'm a huge fan of their Saltado de Pollo, and their rice is simply irresistible! I never get disappointed on my trips here, and I'll be sure to keep coming here on every trip... More
Having recently returned from vacationing in Lima, I was in serious withdrawls from not being able to get authentic peruvian food. Luckily I stumbled upon this place! And it's true that it's a secret mostly only locals will ever get to enjoy(I lived in SF for a whole year before ever even seeing this place!) it was a busy Friday... More
I and my friend had dinner here last night. We were here a year or two ago. Place was crowded, it being a Friday night but were were seated after 5 minutes after we got in. Waiter/order taker/server (in glasses) was delightful to converse with. Ordered the following and were not disappointed with the our choices. 1. Ceviche de Pescado... More
Compared with other peruvian restaurants in the City, this is not the best one. But it is more reasonably priced than some of the others, so it's a good place to go with family. They have filling dishes peruvian style, including lomo saltado which are served with rice and beans. The salads are not particularly delicious, but they are okay... More
Here is one of the really great places to eat in S.F. A true San Francisco experience known mostly among locals only. A little bit off the tourist track at the corner of Valencia & Mission. A family owned and run restaurant with incredibly delicious peruvian cuisine at affordable prices.
Last week walking around the Mission in SF with my girl, we found this place and decided to give it a shot. It was ok. Having just tried Fresca, another Peruvian rest. in SF and liking it so much, we wanted to try more Peruvian food. This place is a bit small and cluttered...a bit overcrowded and a lady sitting... My friend and I were in Bernal Heights Neighborhood and decided to tryout new Restaurants in the area. Mi Lindo Peru was the restaurant of choice. Very Friendly Staff...and not the obsequious type....which is always good. We ordered the following and we were happy with the choices 1. Empanada De Carne 2. Ceviche de Pescado 3. Saltado de Pollo 4.... More
We ate lunch here and just kind of fell into the place. We were going to another restaurant but as we walked by this one decided to try it. The food is authentic, not Americanized so some may not like it but if you like variety it is a good choice. The owner and staff looked to be from Peru... More
I went to this restaurant after reading some reviews of peruvian resataurants. I ordered a ceviche which turned out that it wasn't that great, it was very very plain, a piece of sweet potato and a piece of potato on the side and some corn with few strips of onions. I had better ceviches with more flavor and really delicious... More
