If i am going to judge the food only (not the server/owner whom yes.. agreed.. is not very pleasant to all.. nor the ambiance), this place is great! The Sampling of cold appetizers was really yummy.. The Dolma's were actually fresh.. the hummus was good (and smooth unlike what one of the reviews below mentioned) the baba ghanoush was smokey... More

On a recent visit to Noe Valley my sons and I were looking for a close-by restaurant for dinner. The son we were visiting said he had wanted to try out Fattoush so we went there. We were warmly greeted and seated at a great place by the window. The Hummus we ordered for the appetizer was pronounced the best... More

I had lunch today with friends after reading the great reviews on Tripadvisor. Excellent lunch of the shared appetizer sampler plate followed by the lamb wrap with tahini sauce. At the end of the meal I tried my first taste of a greatly modified Turkish coffee which was excellent that the owner made. I never had coffee like this in... More

A friend of mine came to visit me from abroad and I wanted to take him to a nice dinner. So, I decided that we try a Mediterranean cuisine. I remember someone telling me about this restaurant name Fattouch in Noe Valley, San Francisco. I made a reservation and the rest is history. We had the best time! The food... More

I was introduced to this restaurant by a good friend who told me he eats there about 3 times a month. Well, I decided to take a friend to this restaurant for her birthday and we had the most delightful dinner. It was charming and delicious. the wine selection was nice too! The service and the atmosphere was exactly what... More

Generous portions and decently priced. I wish I had ordered a meat dish as my veggy wrap was not all that flavorful. But.... not a bad meal. Filling enough to bring half home.

So I should come clean from the beginning - I love Arabic food. LOVE Arabic food. I've had the good fortune to travel to a lot of Middle Eastern countries and I live in London where, not to brag, we have some great Arabic food. This said, I come perhaps with preconceptions and expectations. This is a neighbourhood restaurant towards... More

It's done right here! One of our favorite places in the world, a locals place. Fresh, menu items and recipes are different than run of the mill places. Try the Mansaf if you like lamb, Sultan Ibrahim if you like fish. Don't skip the appetizers, get a couple to share. The spinach one is to die for! Abed the owner... More

In our recent visit to San Francisco we stayed in the Noe Valley. We met our friends for dinner at Fattoush and it was a fabulous experience. It is a small neighborhood place with very friendly and attentive staff. Everything we ordered was very good. For four people, we shared an appetizer and then had a family style dinner with... More

Friendly owner, always trying to please. Quaint Noe Valley restaurant. Food is very tasty. The chicken wrap sandwich is delicious and comes with a salad -- great dish for lunch. The serving is pretty large so you can save some for leftovers. For dinner, I usually order the Mashwi. I don't know where they get their prawns but they are... More
