I really like this place even if I make the occasional misstep when ordering. It's a fun, family run place with no bells and whistles and the food is always perfectly fine. Had to laugh at previous reviewer's comments about Mark - he's a flirt and a charmer, wouldn't take it so seriously. And he protected his loyal followers from... More

Still our favorite and 'go to' place in North Beach! Full of locals who know and appreciate mamma's good and hearty food. Not a place for food snobs or those in need of the new and trendy, this is pure nostalgia. Agreed, it's crowded, noisy and a bit rushed...that's Italian, right? Let the touristy places along Columbus wow them with... More

Sodini's delivers authentic Italian American cuisine with a nice and friendly atmosphere. The staff are all characters straight out of a Scorsesse film and make you feel like you're apart of the family. Highly advisable to to dine at the bar and watch the locals roll in throughout the night. Kacey & Anna are amazing bartenders.

A little like and old italian trattoria. Be careful portion are more than generous and you must be very hungry if you take two courses. I had a special, an so buck, cooked traditional style, I most certainly delicious, but you have to love this kind of cooking. Lasagna and gnocchi were quite good. Certainly not high new cooking italian... More

A small restaurant and bar in the North Beach section of San Francisco known as Little Italy. After a long day of travel and settling into our room we walked a few blocks and happened upon Sodini's. After walking in we were greeted with a loud hallo and welcome from Anna the bartender who asked if we wanted a table... More

I had heard rave reviews about this place. As advertised, just how you'd expect a "back in the day" Italian restaurant to be like. Maybe it was because it happened to be a very rainy Halloween, coupled with the victory day celebration for the Giants...could have contributed to the fact that the meal I had was below standard. I ordered... More

After a day of touring SF, and just finishing Coit Tower around the corner, I stumbled upon this amazing old school Italian restaurant. I got a seat at the bar, enjoyed the atmosphere and feel of a restaurant that seemed like it was out of Hollywood movie set, everything just worked there! Amazing menu, great service, and by the time... More
