We had a wonderful experience here last night. The food and service were exceptional. I would definitely recommend. It is traditional red sauce Italian. We will definitely go back.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Please consider elsewhere before spending your money at Sodini's. Before even getting the opportunity to sit down and enjoy a meal here, we were made to feel so uncomfortable and disrespected we left. If you don't have time to read, check out Colosseo just right down the road instead. Otherwise, here you... More

Went there after the highest of recommendations. To say that this was a major disappointment is not to say enough. The food resembled Italian because it looked the part- it tasted like it came from a can. Ugh! Plus, I got sick eating their salmon special that was literally drenched in the worst smelling pesto sauce I've ever experienced. The... More

A friend and I stopped here to grab dinner while wandering around North Beach. We sat at the bar, and both the bartender and waitress were both great. Salad was fresh and crisp, and the gnocchi was like having a plateful of little pillows of heaven! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Fran.

Food was great. Waitress was friendly. One of our faves in the North Beach area. The gnocchi was amazing.

We struggled to find a good sit down Italian restaurant with most asking over $20 for a plate of pasta. We had the Canneloni , lasagne and spinach ravioli all dishes were around $16. Beers are around $5. The service was great and we left very happy. Sodinis is quite busy but is a pleasant pub like atmosphere

Sodini's formerly Green Valley Restaurant in North Beach section short distance from Fugazzi Theather (BBB). Great dinner with lot's of flavor, average pricing, good service. If your wondering what BBB is? Beach Blanket Bablyon is a musical comedy all will enjoy. Playing 40 years, I see it evertime I get to the City. Everyone I take enjoys the show.

Whether you call it Sodini's or Green Valley Restaurant it has been a staple of this ethnic neighborhood for decades. Don't worry if there is a waiting list- it is definitely worth the wait. It opens at 5:00, so get a first seating if you have time constraints. The menu offers many choices, the food is wonderful with bold, fresh... More

After our dinner there, I am wondering where all the hype is coming from. The staff was great. The food was pretty average; relying heavily on pasta with not a lot of variety. Plus, the place was insanely loud when it was only half full. Not bad, but definitely not the best Italian food.

Went with a family of 8. Arrived at 5:00 when it opened and it was packed by 6:00. Salads are very big and can be shared with 2. Pasta was homemade and very good. Pizza was delicious. Had a nice bottle of wine to share with the family. Only thing is there is no dessert as written on the front... More
