Great breakfast.

Staying at the Argonaut Hotel, this is the breakfast venue and very good it is too. Friendly staff and multiple choices for food make it a must, before the rigours of sightseeing !

Was recommended this place by a couple coming the other way while we were in New York. Great chowder served in sour bread. Good service.

We stayed at the Argonaut Hotel so the restaurant was very convenient for breakfast as it's attached to the hotel. It was early and not crowded. We had a great breakfast to start off our last day of San Franciso and I forgot to take pictures. All of the food was very good, no complaints. Service was fast and friendly!... More

Ahoy there, We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your breakfast! We are going to be adding some new entrees to the breakfast menu later this week. Next time you are in San Francisco come by and check them out. We also have some really great chowders that we recommend if you want to stop in for lunch. We... More

The food was amazing. I had the chowder sampler- New England, corn and Shrimp- holy wow! The staff were friendly, easy to talk to and not over bearing. The decor was very cool too. This is the best restaurant experience I've had in San Fran.

First meal when I got to San Fran. Had the corn and crab chowder in a bread bowl. Very good and very filling. Ate at the bar. Early evening on a Monday, wasn't very crowded. Can't speak for the rest of the menu, but I'd definitely have the chowder again.

Not a great place, bar staff more interested in watching TV than dealing with customers. Beer was good. Didn't like staff as not helpful.

We dined here while staying at the Argonaut, for the prices I'd say the food is average to good. Everything was ok and we enjoyed the meal but feel you're paying a premium for ok food because of the location. The fish and Parmesan fries were enjoyed the most. Worth a visit if you're nearby.

I tired the corn and crab one and was very good even a bit salty. It was the room service of the hotel, fast and warm.

Yes, it is attached to The Argonaut, but we found it to be it just average. It was more expensive than others down the Wharf. We did have a couple of fancy smancy cocktails and they were OK. We recommend Ciopino's just down the Wharf which was excellent food with reasonable prices and the most inviting staff we experienced in... More

We stopped here for their award winning chowder. I had the chowder sampler of three different kinds of chowder. They all tasted great. It was more of an appetizer than a meal given the small portions.
