Worth at lunch time

Nice restaurant, very busy due to both location and well known by tourists. Nice food choice, especially fish. Must try their chowder soup, simply delicious !

Stayed at the Hotel where this restaurant is located. Only had breakfast. Bagel and cream cheese, 2 eggs over easy , bacon. Coffee:4$, OJ:4$, total bill $42. Yikes! Yes, it was "good" but $42? Went to neighboring chain coffee shop for beverages and breakfast sandwiches the next 6 days.

Two colleagues ate here last night and thought it was very good. I ate here tonight and left disappointed. I was there early in the evening so it was very slow. I was promptly seated but it took some time before I saw my server. It was obvious from the very start he was distracted. He was looking around while... More

We stumbled on this restaurant accidentally when we had a bad experience in a previous restaurant. We than ended up coming here for the next 3 nights. Service is extremely fast, our waiter was Brian, and we kept coming back because of him. He was fast, friendly, so funny just good times all around. The menu is not big, everything... More

My husband stopped by this bar our first night in San Francisco. I really wanted to grab a bowl of clam chowder and we wanted a couple drinks. We each ordered a drink, I had the bowl of clam chowder and we ordered an appetizer of popcorn shrimp. The bill came to $53.67. Wow...that seems like a lot for what... More

Had breakfast here twice while in Fishermans Wharf as we were staying at the Argonaut. Service was OK but food massively overpriced for quality.

James seated us and took the coupon that I'd found in the fisherman's pier map, (saved us $5.) Our server was lovely and so helpful with our choices. (Think her name was Danika or Danille) if I'm wrong so sorry, because you are wonderful! The chowder is what sticks in my mind, it was delicious served with butter and a... More

Don't be fooled by the "Award Winning" sign out front. This food is absolutely average. Before I ordered the crab cakes I asked about the % filler, I was told it was a small amount. I could not find a piece of crab in the cake. It was all filler. (Come on Blue Mermaid, this is crab central in SF). The... More
