We were staying at the Argonaut so this restaurant choice was a now brainer. It's hard to rate a restaurant based on beer and chowder but that's what we had and it was great! I loved the decor.

This was our last meal in Fishermans Wharf, and the food although simple (a burger, and a sandwich), the ingredients and preparation was first class, along with the best service, and friendlist waiter we had encountered on the whole trip, made for a lovely memorable last meal.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Outdoor seating was perfect. The clam chowder in the bread bowl was excellent. Others ordered a cheeseburger, tilapia, and salmon scrambled eggs. Everything was perfect. Since they knew we were in a rush, service was very good.

Ordered crab and corn chowder, and scallop penne, both were delicious, my wife had chowder as well with chilled clams appetizer. We walked in without a reservation, very good and quick service from our waiter James. We were having a hard time deciding on a place to eat, turned out to be a good choice. M from YUL

Loved sitting outside. They have lots of chowders to choose from. They were all delicious. Two people in our party had the cioppino and it was so yummy! We also loved the mussels. All in all this was the best meal of our trip!

I have a knack for selecting tastiest yet pricey salads and my meal at the Blue Mermaid was no different! Their Dungeness salad is a must-try.

We met friends at the the Blue Mermaid in the Argenout Hotel. It's close to the end of fisherman's wharf. It's a nice break from the huge crowds at the Wharf. It has a great patio and large inside. The tilapia sandwich was good and they have some nice spicy bloody mary's.

Hi Dana, Our patio is a great spot to sit back and relax while watching the chaos on Jefferson St. It's even better when enjoying one of our craft cocktails, the Bloody Mermaid is a great one, but next time you have to try the Prime Directive with Ketel One, passion fruit, orange and curry syrup! See you next time!... More

Fisherman's Wharf is not known for its good food and service as much as it is known for its touristy places to get industrial size portions of crab. Blue Mermaid is the exception. The food was well prepared, the combinations of flavors were interesting, and our waiter was very helpful. This was a very pleasant surprise.
