Asian fusion gem outside the bustle

Had dinner here with friends. Food is served more of a family style where the staff recommends 1 to 1 1/2 plates per person. It was kind of like Asian tapas with everyone having a little bite of each dish. I've never really found short ribs to be my favorite but the way these were prepared were... read more

We went here for Halloween it was very good. The service was quick and attentive. The atmosphere was unique. We are very glad we left the Wharf to venture out a bit!

This restaurant has a nice vibe and the food is ok, but there were a couple of details that ruined the experience. first the waiter had that attitude of making us wait for a table although it was empty and with no reservation. after having a couple of drinks at the bar finally we got the empty table. then the... My family has been coming for years and love this place. The food is always on point and they make great cocktails too, my mom loves their bloody mary's. You also can't beat their $1 a oyster happy hour that starts at 4pm.

This was a great find recommended by an American lady we chatted to at lunch in sarisoto! The location was close to our hotel and we had to catch a cab but so worth it! My husband and and I had the dumplings followed by the laksa and a broccoli and beef dish. Fabulous!

Over the years this place was high on our list to visit while in the city. We had heard it lost its glory but we didn't experience that. It hasn't changed much at all. Which is kind of cool. The menu was good and has some interesting mixed asian food like Malay, Thai, Vietnamese etc themed dishes. The cocktail list... More

We were recommended this restaurant by multiple people, multiple times. Got a table on a busy Friday night and were ready to roll. The service is tight and the drinks were good. Some dishes worked and some failed miserably. Namely, the calamari. It was more crispy breading than anything else. I usually never leave food uneaten, but this was inedible.... More

Really nice place. It was made by the creator of PF Chang´s, before making PF Chang`s. Nice choice of beers, and delicious food. Nice decoration!

Our group of eight (8) found this restaurant to be uncomplicated and a great venue for a group of our size. The original beverage service (from the bar) at the start of our dinner was a bit slow but everything else was nicely timed. The menu offered a nice variety which seemed to satisfy everyone in our group. There were... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
