Nice "cowboy" setting, Large wooden beams, but the mos important is that they have very good food. Original ordering/serving system (You order and pay at the counter, then you receive a number that you place on your table, and you have your requests delivered to the table). Efficient, friendly, affordable, and yes, very good!!

The doorman recommended this restaurant for breakfast for us - they serve breakfast all day and lunch, etc. We both ordered breakfast from the very nice man behind the counter - you order at a counter, take a number and they bring it to your table. OJ tastes fresh squeezed and comes in a tall champagne glass. I had poached... More

This place is delicious! I had the Moroccan Baked eggs five days in a row. Have a Mimosa, relax and watch the crowds.

A nice range of food and choices and some healthy items on the menu. I had the chicken pot pie which was recommended by the server (at the counter). The pastry lid was huge, but the filling was a little disappointing, with some quite stringy chicken in a bland sauce with some carrots. There was no side dish and I... More

Many healthy menu options. I loved my blueberry granola smoothie. My date had French toast with strawberries, fresh squeezed orange juice & steel cut oatmeal. If I lived nearby, I would never eat at home.

1st time here. What a great neighborhood restaurant. Cozy, warm, inviting and the food was great. Service also excellent. We came for breakfast, but looks like a great spot for lunch as well. Would come back again.

This is a slice of an older, slightly less upscale San Fran, with rough wooden floors, order at the counter, fresh squeezed OJ, good coffee and pastries, lots of interesting folks coming and going. Had breakfast here two days in a row while staying at Hotel Kabuki a few blocks away. I'll be back!

There were not many places open on New Year's Day morning. The Grove was open for business, and though they had a line out the door, it moved quickly. It's my favorite place to visit for coffee and breakfast when I'm visiting San Francisco. Food is good, and the menu selection is pretty good. Breakfast burrito is always a good... More

Had breakfast on two separate ocasions, went in the evening for a giant chocolate chip cookie, and a chocolate croissant. for breakfast I recommend the firrst item on the menu, the Grove french toast, with caramelized bananas and fresh strawberries, to die for, we got there early, because it´s preety busy, and the line starts forming right away, cozy athmosphere.... Delicious neighborhood breakfast spot. Order at the counter and find a table quick. They do a great job of moving the crowd without making you feel hurried. And the most important - the Food is fantastic. We are from out of town, but will visit again on our next trip.
