Nice Asian Fusion

A pleasant restaurant off Chestnut and Steiner (Marina area). Great food. The restaurant can get loud at times. But, the service and food are excellent!!!

eaten here many times, previous review was a 5. However, the last two visits have been awful. Food remains excellent - but the good part of the experience stops there. Menu proudly says "family style, share plates, food comes out when it is cooked" What this means is that a few minutes after your small table is filled with the small... More

Great atmosphere and service, super delicious food, lots of options and good location. Wish we'd been seated in the back where all the action was though. I'd definitely go back. It was awesome!

Decided not to wait 45 minute for Tacolicious around the corner and found this little gem! Woweee! We sat in the back in the covered patio and had a most delicious meal! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. I had the potato wrapped sea bass and it was delicious! If I lived closer, this would be a regular restaurant... More

It's situated in a very safe area of San Fran, minutes away from marina drive. If you like having a bunch of different plates and share that's the place to be. Amazing flavors combined with a great atmosphere and a very friendly staff. Highly recommend it

Looking for a comfortable neighbor place, and Isa delivers. We were a party of 6, one of us with gluten and food allergies. Isa was supposed to be sensitive to that. They absolutely were and could not have been more accommodating. Service was fantastic, warm, helpful, efficient and friendly. Of the 6 dishes, the risssoto with truffles, spaghetti and lamb... Near Chestnut Street in the Marina, this is a small restaurant, so you may want to make reservations. Though a "small plates" menu, the paella and the lamb chops were large enough portions for an entree. We also had the baked goat cheese and the salmon carpaccio. The waiter recommended all the dishes, and he was right. All were fantastic.... More

Food: Online I read French cuisine, on the business card it says Californian ... Here is what we had, you decide: The crab salad was good, the salmon appetizer was lacking a bit of flavor in my opinion. Grilled calamari were tasty but wasn't all cleaned well.. We found couple of calamari cartilage. 3 lamb chops were tasty and scallops... More

My family of four very much enjoyed this restaurant and its service and atmosphere. The food style was French with heavy Japanese fusion. Nice combo, just not what we were expecting. Nonetheless, we very much enjoyed and would return again.

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
