We were referred by the Concierge of our hotel to this restaurant. There were four of us visiting from Texas . We were excited about enjoying the dungeness crab at this small local restaurant. We sat at the bar while waiting for our table. The bartender was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. We were seated and... More

My wife and I just has a lovely dinner at Hyde Park Seafood. We both had seafood dishes that were extremely well prepared. Our server was very good; even offered to call a cab for us. The decor is attractive and most welcoming. Really a neighborhood restaurant but for us, being from out of town, it was a lovely experience.

Small old time seafood restaurant that does seafood well. Most customers were regulars. It is not fancy, but comfy, and has a very nice selection of different types of seafood, prepared well.

Very good bisque, delicious sole and tasty trout. Roast potatoes with sour cream and al dente veges were a good accompaniment. I thought my Cosmo tasted a bit strange. Diner alongside me said that's probably because it's made with Korean wine! I stopped drinking it then. He added that they are not allowed to serve spirits at that point on... More

It was suggested we find our way to this neighbourhood restaurant for the Lobster Bisque. I am so glad we did! We chose to walk here from our hotel in Union Square. By the time we arrived on a beautiful warm Friday night, we were ready to discover what the terrific reviews were all about. All 3 in our party... More

This was recommended by a local and we were not disappointed. Reviews online said to try the stuffed trout so my husband got that - it was good but not as good as their French specialty Red Snapper cooked in the parchment paper. The Lobster Bisque was so amazing we went back the next night just for that and bread.... More

We went back again with my family and some friends. As always, the food was fantastic. Several of us order the fish in paper. My son ordered the seafood salad appetizer for his meal. It was just the right size and he loved it. My 7 year old son is helping me write this review. My 5 year old daughter... More

We've becoming coming here for years (both business and pleasure dinners) and have never been disappointed. Great value on the early bird oyster special and discounted drink prices. The seafood is always fresh, well-prepared and service is efficient. I've recommended the restaurant to friends and relatives and they have concurred with my recommendation.

My husband and I had just arrived to San Francisco and all we could think was OYSTERS! Our hotel was situated in the financial district so we walked to Nob Hill to find Hyde Street Seafood House and Raw Bar. It was dimly lit, nautically themed (maps all over as wallpaper), and mildly busy. We were seated one spot away... More

We had a great meal, fairly priced, and with excellent service. We'd go back. We liked the stuffed prawns and the grilled swordfish.
