Impressive wine and beer list, bistro atmosphere

I had pizza sitting at the bar, which was fine to avoid the 45 minutes waiting on a Wednesday night. The food was great, the wine list is impressive and the service is ok. Polite, fast, professional.

Stopped in for a quick lunch when I was in the area and had a great margarita pizza. Really tasty Neapolitan style with fresh tasting ingredients.

we celebrated our 49th there and would do it again. We were in the back, in a small room with a few other couples. It was quiet enough that we could talk, and that is saying something for me. We ordered an app of grilled chicken livers, very good. Our main was a very unusual pizza, cream base with ham... More

Get the fresh pasta. But everything is really good! Plus, they have a very nice wine list which is primarily southern Italian. Explore this place.

Thoughtful, unpretentious, well crafted food, Lovely room with great art. Service friendly, informative but slow....seemed more logistical than as a result of the server. Room pretty boisterous which we enjoyed but might not be the place if looking for a place to talk at regular pace. Would return for sure!

Excellent neighborhood place in SF. Food was delicious - particular standouts - corn & fig salad, prawns, gnocchi and the steak. The varied wine list had some great choices. The staff was good and attentive. The dessert (a chocolate budino) was only okay and the restaurant got very loud and warm (doing a booming business!).

There are pizza places, then there is A!6. Fresh Burrata pizza. Beautiful salads, hipster without the attitude. If you haven't booked ahead, forget it. You'll have to eat at 5 p.m. like we did. We loved it. Fantastic service, not too obtrusive but very solicitous.

We were 2, in front of the cooks! Best place to see how fast they work and precise they are! We had 2 pizzas and one beer for the price of 40$. It was a Saturday night, and we found places

We had a reservation for 8pm on Sat. night but were not seated until 9pm. They comped part of our meal but it was a little to late. Wish they had just told us they couldn't actually give us the reservation when we made it.

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
