Oh Wow

I have made it a point to make it to this restaurant every time I am in San Francisco. Even thought it is a good bike ride from the Hotel Marriott Marquis, it is worth it. I have always had great service, and the Sushi rolls are out of this world. I only wish they opened a little earlier in... read more

We went to this place with friends, suppose to be the coolest sushi place in town. we had 6 different rolls and none of them was any spesial. Just normal as you would get anywhere else in the US. But the place have an reputation and very good service. Nice staff! No complaints! But for what we got was it... More

Nice staff, great location and outstanding California roll, nothing like the depressing 'crabsticks' we have in the UK. One bugbear: the crispy salmon skin roll was cremated rather than crispy but it was still tasty.

We stayed at the hotel right across the street on a recent trip to San Francisco and we're so happy that we wandered into here for sushi on our first night! The restaurant is very tiny and loud but the food made it worth the wait for a table. We were happy with everything we ordered. I would say that... More

I went there an evening with my boyfriend and we were pleasantly surprise of the quality of the food and the overall fun factor. The pricing is totally reasonable too. Great spot.

It was quite dark and so so loud! A young crowd which is fun, loads of groups of ladies drinking and eating sushi which may have accounted for the really shrill noise! I am one so I can say that! They did done interesting stuff with the sushi like mix it with nuts and fruit which you would have thought... More

This place is more like a hole in a wall. Very clean, locals come here. Be prepared for line up starting at 5:30pm Come early. Sit by the sushi bar and be entertained by the sushi makers. Every sushi is wonderful Wash it down with beer and bring some friends to enjoy the evening. I usually order the miso soup,... More

What a lot of fun at this sushi bar. We played bingo to try to win a $20 gift card to come back to this great place. Even though I didn't win at Bingo, all of the rolls we tried were fabulous!! Tokyo trip gave you a draft beer, Nigori Sake, a roll which was only $9. Try the tempura,... More

Extremely slow service and mediocre food made this sushi stop feel like a waste of time on our trip to SF. Either our waitress or the kitchen forgot about our food. We hadto ask the waitress if our food was even coming at as other tables around us who sat down some time after us were already enjoying their meals.... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
