Great food, good drinks!

If you didn't have the address you'd never find this place. All it has is its building no in the door. It only takes Debit Cards or Cash, but they do tell you this when they greet you. Little known - getting more well known by the day! Nothing to dislike! They don't take credit cards, but recently started taking debit cards I heard. They don't advertise, but you can find them on Google Maps or YELP. BRING CASH$$$ NO RESERVATIONS! Didn't bother me, I loved the Appletini at the bar while we waited!!

I am staying in the area with my parents, after reading a few reviews though this sounded a good place for dinner. My mum had a salad, listed were tomato's but none showed up they were out. My dad had an Angus Ribeye Steak, it was not overly tender, was undercooked and generally didn't taste great. My meals were ok,... More

looking for a restaurant to go to after Beach Blanket Babylon we came back to the Brazen Head near our hotel on a recommendation. Enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and the food was good. My petite filet mignon was very petite but for a late night dinner was perfect. The scampi was also good.

The Brazen Head was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying in. We were not sure what to expect as we were told it was Italian but I would call it more American fare than Italian. We had Grilled Pacific Salmon Filet with sweet basil beurre blanc (with baked potato and sauteed veggies) and Petrale Sole with Thyme... More

Not exactly a tourist spot and that's part of what makes the Brazen Head a great find. It's a dark, speakeasy sort of interior with a great staff and some very good food. For the complete experience you need to sit at the bar and chat with the bartenders and locals, they'll treat you like an old friend. We had... More

We were staying at the Motel Capri just over the road from the Brazen Head. We had no idea it was there until walking back from Fishermans Wharf early one evening. We noticed lights on and people sitting eating and lo and behold it was a restaurant! Earlier in the day we had walked straight past! We ate there the... More

Directly opposite our hotel (Capri Motel) was the Brazen Head. No signage or indication at all that it was a restaurant. Not even an open sign. We only realised it was a restaurant upon recommendation from a local bar up on Union street. It has yellow awnings with mostly closed Venetian blinds on the corner of Buchanan and Greenwich. We... Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
