This restaurant located in the Marina district offers great steaks in a setting with great ambiance. Dining here is memorable and a great local hangout.

looking for a restaurant to go to after Beach Blanket Babylon we came back to the Brazen Head near our hotel on a recommendation. Enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and the food was good. My petite filet mignon was very petite but for a late night dinner was perfect. The scampi was also good.

The Brazen Head was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying in. We were not sure what to expect as we were told it was Italian but I would call it more American fare than Italian. We had Grilled Pacific Salmon Filet with sweet basil beurre blanc (with baked potato and sauteed veggies) and Petrale Sole with Thyme... More

Not exactly a tourist spot and that's part of what makes the Brazen Head a great find. It's a dark, speakeasy sort of interior with a great staff and some very good food. For the complete experience you need to sit at the bar and chat with the bartenders and locals, they'll treat you like an old friend. We had... More

We were staying at the Motel Capri just over the road from the Brazen Head. We had no idea it was there until walking back from Fishermans Wharf early one evening. We noticed lights on and people sitting eating and lo and behold it was a restaurant! Earlier in the day we had walked straight past! We ate there the... More

Directly opposite our hotel (Capri Motel) was the Brazen Head. No signage or indication at all that it was a restaurant. Not even an open sign. We only realised it was a restaurant upon recommendation from a local bar up on Union street. It has yellow awnings with mostly closed Venetian blinds on the corner of Buchanan and Greenwich. We... This is the best totally hidden place you will ever find. If someone didn't show it to me I would have never seen it. There's no signage or markings of any kind outside the building. You need to know where the door is. If you can find it, I guarantee you will love it. The food is fantastic and staff... More

When traveling we like to visit places where the locals go. Staying at the Coventry Motor Inn the desk clerk suggested Brazen Head. What a nice place it was, a homey feeling while being many miles from home.

We had dinner here a year or so ago. Found ourselves in the Marina area, late, and I think we Yelped it. Really don't remember how we found it, but were so glad we did! The atmosphere was vintage English pub and so was the food. It was delicious, and seems that our family party of five got out for... More

We stopped in here one night on our vacation to have a couple of drinks. What a GREAT place! The bar tender, servers, and host were all very friendly and personable. Listening to people at the bar you could tell this was a locals kind of place. They made a GREAT Manhattan! The food menu looked great...next time we will... More
