Great service and amazing food -- love that there seem to be so many regulars who love this place! Cozy spot for a nice long dinner. My brother and I decided to meet for prime ribs and we selected this place. Brazen Head doesn't take reservation and when we drove over to the neighborhood in Marina, San Francisco, there was no outside sign or advertising board for this reataurant. The place was packed when we walked in. There was a bar next the dining area. Lighting... More

This is literally a hidden pub. The largest (and only?) sign is inside the pub, behind the bar (and less than 2 sq. ft. in size). If trying to find it by night, the wooden doors are lit by yellowish lights. Enter with boldness. Once inside, the staff buzz around with symphonic coordination and practiced expertise that harkens to ages... More

A restaurant to remember! A bit pricey but is certainly worth the detour! The filet mignon was delicious! If there is a line it is worth waiting.

Had an excellent dinner at the Brazen Head. This is a pub/restaurant with excellent service and no reservations. Parking is tough but the Prime Rib, Medium rare, was excellent and # 2 compared to Ray's Cafe in Kalihi, Honolulu. Beats out in order Broadway Prime, House of Prime Rib; San Mateo Prime, Ruth Chris, Mortons, and Outback.

Great intimate atmosphere, wonderful food, and often rockstar sightings. This place has limos lined up around all the corners when the big rock bands are in town. Great food & an extensive bar. What's not to love?

Not easy to locate this wonderful restaurant on a quiet corner with no obvious sign visible, yet well with the effort. Wonderful comfort food. Try the Grilled Garlic Bulb, Crab Cakes, Grilled Salmon, and Double-cut Pork Chops. All are flavorful and nicely prepared. Unassuming and friendly sevice. Nice Bar.

Thank you so much for the great review of Brazen Head. We realize that sometimes it's difficult to find us with no outside signage. We are also very happy to hear when you were able to find us it was a place worth finding. Remember you are only a stranger here once. More

Dropped in here for a nightcap and had a tasty draft IPA. My friend went for the corn chowder, which was awesome.

You won't find this place without having found it on Tripadvisor or similar. It sits on a quiet corner about six blocks from Fishermans Wharf. The welcome and attentiveness is second to none, and the food is excellent. Well worth taking that short walk away from the Wharf and the expensive tourist traps.

We dined here a couple of nights and enjoyed both experiences. Staff very friendly, atmosphere was great and food was very nice. Maybe not a place for young children but if you are looking for a quite intimate place to dine this is it...we also enjoyed the afternoon drinks and mingling amongst the locals, plus it's full service till 1am,... Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
