I've been here several times and it is very consistent. Frascati is a small, quaint restaurant on a corner in Russian Hill. The crowd is usually 30s and up, and they are there to dine, not just drink. (if you are looking to get away from the younger, Marina crowd, this is generally a good place.) They have an amazing... We knew we had a good walk from our hotel to Fracati but the mile plus walk (on a beautiful SF night) and anticpating wait of surprise was definetly worth it. The food was wounderful from appetizers to the main course to the dessert....just everthing was yummy! The grilled bread salad was huge and the duck breast and lemon chicken... More

My wife and I on our recent vacation to San Francisco ate at Frascati for dinner one evening. We found it to be a charming neighborhood restaurant with really good food and a pleasant waitstaff. My wife had the pork chop, which she loved, and I had the Sausage risotto which was excellent. The atmosphere was nice and somewhat casual... More

As a native San Franciscan who grew up in this neighborhood and saw Frascati evolve from a great Italian restaurant with such marvelous personal service (over twenty years ago) to a very exclusive and outstanding example of Mediterranean inspired and distinctly California cuisine. The place still has the charm and intimacy and the service is really quite good. The menu... More

The food was good. Our waiter was initially brusque. I did not take too much notice at that point as I was enjoying the good food and a decent wine. They seemed keen to move people on from tables here so they could have second sittings. When asked if we wanted dessert, I told the discourteous waiter we would simply... More

Loved Frascati's! Great neighborhood spot, awesome menu, and very friendly service. What more can you ask for? Especially nice are the seats up front overlooking the street!

Yes, I'll call it, scream it, do whatever I can to let anyone and everyone know who's willing to listen - BEST MEAL of our whole trip !! I can still taste that pork chop a week after having it. When you combine all the elements of a solid restaurant, the ambience, the service, the food - you get Frascati... More

Small intimate italian, homemade pastas excellent. Perfect spot for an romantic dinner without spending a fortune. Make a reservation as the space is small.

This restaurant was a great surprise as we only had modest expectations but these expectations were wildly surpassed. The cheese platter entree we shared was superb, and the duck mains that two of us chose was amongst the best duct dishes that we had ever had. All deserts were superb as well at the modest cost of $9 each Service... More

A wonderful dinner here on our last night in San Francisco. Quaint seating, but not so close as to interfere with the romance. Warm duck breast salad was incredibly good. Flat iron steak cooked to perfection and the mussels were fantastic! Too bad we didn't save room for dessert!
