This place is no.1 for a reason. Simply fantastic food and impeccable service. The price of the winelist (even fairly ordinary wines) will shock Europeans but wine was expensive everywhere we went in California. You won't leave this place disappointed though - a wonderful experience. It was such a nice start to our honeymoon. more

I've heard so much about the great service at Gary Danko, but it was missing during our visit. Perhaps because we didn't order any alcohol? The menu's concept is interesting, and I enjoyed the flexibility of ordering from the various areas. However, the poor service ruined an expensive dining experience and we don't plan to return. more

You can't receive better service. The servers are so incredably accomodating. The unique thing about the restaurant is the allowance of ordering different courses in varying size. Gary Danko is where we go for anniversaries and other special occasions. While there are flashier and trendier gourmet restaurants, Gary Danko never fails to satisfy with classic gourmet food. It's predictable in a good way--you'll never leave wondering what you ate and it's served with the best service in town. more
