Small restaurant with about 15/20 covers, but turns over quickly. If full, staff will say come back in 20 minutes etc. It is worth the wait. We ate at the bar which was fun and fish was excellent. My teenage son was full, so portions have to be reasonable. We are foodies so it needs to be good for us... More

First meal in San Francisco, I tried a salmon tartarre with avocado and spring onions. Fresh, good quality and tasty, however the portion was not very generous. Friendly servers, nice atmosphere, perhaps a bit crowded and noisy, still a place to come back to

We first ate dinner at the Chestnut location and then had lunch at the location by Golden Gate Park. Pacific Catch apparently has several locations solely in the SF metro area. We had the summer salmon salad and one of the Asian rice bowls the first time, then tried all the tacos for lunch (beef, chicken, shrimp, salmon, fried fish,... More

Been in California a week using TripAdvisor to find the best dinner spots, and this was easily the best yet. It was the best salmon any of us have ever had.

This restaurant is located on Chestnut Street along with many many other restaurants, large and small. Street parking only. It is a long narrow restaurant with 6 - 2 people tables that can be put together for larger groups. They also have a long counter with seating for about 12 -15 people. The servers are friendly and the food was... More

Really enjoyed the fresh food prepared at this understated restaurant. Staff very friendly but not intrusive. Small we were lucky to get a table for lunch. Highly recommended. Found it really difficult to choose as we looked around and saw what others were eating. The salmon special summer salad, salmon tacos, fish and chips and prawns and chips all enjoyed... More

Was in San Francisco with wife and 2 daughters ages 24 and 21 for a 2 day visit after spending a few days in Napa and Sonoma before heading back home to the Washington DC area. Stayed near Pacific Coast Restaurant near the Marina area of town and found it highly rated by Trip Advisor so took a chance to... More

I had the poke trio and my husband had the tuna sandwich. They were both very, very, good! It was mid day and we found seating right away in this tiny place to eat. The server was prompt and attentive. If you need transportation... DON'T TAKE A CAB! Download an app called 'Lyft'. We used this service everyday at least... More
