Always get the cheeseburger and onion rings and coke! We had the seat in the corner window and could see the "life" of the Castro. It's a very small but interesting place and i love going every time!

We had some coffee and a chocolate fudge brownie and were very satisfied. The service was open hearted and really friendly, the coffee was good and the brownie with ice cream was delicious and huge! Basing on the plates of others I saw I can say that the rest of the food was looking delicious, too! Prices were moderate, not... More

I used to love this place and I never missed it when I came to the city. The last couple of times I have been there I was pretty disappointed in deciding to eat there. On my last trip to the city I decided to have some food there and even before I got my meal I almost walked out.... More

Anytime I am in San Francisco, this place is my home from home. Great atmosphere, service and the food is not bad either! I have been visiting San Francisco since the mid 90's and this place is wonderful - it just doesn't change!

24/7. Castro. Diner. Oh come on just imagine how perfect! On this night I held hands with my sweetheart while eating a chicken caesar doused with 1500 kcal dressing. Big guy next to me had pancakes w head-sized scoop of butter-like substance. Joy.

Had brunch with my girlfriends here. It was ok. Not that fast of a service, a bit unfriendly staff and food is just so so. A bit greasy and not that palatable. Good portion though for the price. Will come back if there is no other choice.

Recently returned to this place after not having been in years and I expected the same comfy food I was used to. Unfortunately this place has gone down. The service was terrible, waiters unfriendly and the food very poor. In the past it had been delicious comfort food and now it was bland, greasy and extremely bad. I don´t know... More

Great little diner. Server was friendly and helpful. Food was as expected. The location was great. Right across the street from Harvey Milk Plaza.

I don't know what they did or how they did it. I really don't. But I had THE BEST h&c at Orphan Andy's. Maybe it was the end of a long day of day drinking. Maybe it was the naked man riding a dolphin picture that was the artwork for our booth. I don't know. All I can tell you... More

This is standard diner fare. Reasonable quality at a reasonable price in a small place that is easily accessible to the Castro. Yes, the service can be spotty. But if you play the game with the waiter you will have much more fun and enjoy the meal. I think that is really part of the experience - so get over... More
