After staying at a nearby hotel, I again decided to give Café Flore another chance as my last couple of experiences there have been downhill. I travel to SF once or twice a year and have appreciated the sidewalk dining option of this place in the past. So, on the morning of Tuesday, July 1st at around 10AM, myself and... More

I ordered a plain hamburger...just meat and they brought out a hamburger loaded with mushrooms and mayo and cheese. When we indicated the order was wrong the waitress proceeded to argue with us...will never eat here again

A friend suggested we stopped for lunch here, which we did. We ordered a Meatallica burger and a Turk Cobain. They arrived with fries, both were very tasty and filling, helpful friendly staff and a great choice of drinks. Would recommend if your in the area.

Was in San Francisco late February earl March. Went to Cafe Flore because it was recommended by TripAdvisor. Loved everything about the restaurant. Burgers were awesome even though there was a bit of a wait for it. Bartender was so friendly (love the mohawk) as well as fast and accurate. Even though there was a line, he took multiple orders... Stopped by for lunch, pretty crowded, limited menu choices, indoor and outdoor dining options. I had an avocado salad with hearts of romaine, Caesar dressing which was fresh and pretty good. Eggs Benedict was average. Service was average/very slow but the server was courteous. They ran out of a few dining choices. Casual atmosphere located at Market and Noe. There... More

A rare gem which has been in San Francisco for as long as I have been visiting (Since the mid 90's) and it just is consistently good! Unlike many places you order your food at one window and your drinks at another but it is no big deal. Always lovely staff, good service and great food!

We went during dinner. The staff at the counter weren't friendly and the bathrooms were dirty. I'd maybeee try it out again if it was during the day, maybe be out in the patio area or to see outside more since it does have a pretty cool ambience both inside and outside.

This well-known haunt for gays and yuppies serves standard US diner fare. I thought it was really pleasant until I encountered the extremely rude and grumpy general manager who needs a training course on human behaviour. I pity the poor, friendly staff working under this unmannerly, gruff man. A rarity in such a friendly and laid-back city.

Maybe it's nice to go there on a sunny day but I wouldn't recommend it on a cold and rainy night like last night. It's an unheated glass and metal shed with no service whatsoever. I don't know if it's normally like that but last night we just sat there waiting until figuring out if you wanted food you'd have... More

Drinks are average but the food is pretty good. Great place to hang out on a sunny afternoon with your friends.
