Great authentic food...

Northern Indian food; easy on the spices. We had an excellent late evening dinner. Good prices, easy to talk to dinner companions. There's a lot of competition in the MIssion for your dining time and money - this is worth it.

Seldom I repeat seldom, I have found Indian food to be even of 'good' level when tried out of India ! It was pleasant surprise to find in SF such a high quality and yummy Indian food. All the items which we ordered, both veg and non-veg were not only cooked extremely well but also tasted very fine. It's one... More

The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere and is set in a hip district of San Fransisco. The food was good quality and reasonably priced. I would say it was in the American style rather than the English but very tasty.

Several people had recommended Aslam' s, so we went with high expectations. The food was tasty but portions were on the skimpy side. Service was slow. We asked for glasses of water, our only beverages, but water was never brought to us, despite our asking four times. Table was against the wall - not a problem- until they bussed the... More

While living in San Francisco for four years, I haven't eaten at an Indian restaurant that compares to Aslam's. Amazing food, fantastic staff, and ideal location. I'd eaten here a few dozen times while living in SF, and never once had a sub-par experience. That's a nod to their consistency as a whole. I miss it!

We enjoyed Aslam's Rasoi. Flavorful chutney and tamarind sauce for our papadums and samosas, tasty veg pakora. We tried 4 dishes - veggie and chicken and all were delicious.

The food was tasty, the service fine. Our evening was spoiled by the excessively noisy environment....we were actually unable to communicate within our group of four, so loud was the noise. (And we don't have hearing problems normally). Staff did move us to a table a little further away from the source of the main noise...a group of diners, but... More

I visited Aslams while on honeymoon last summer following recommendations on tripadvisor and wasn't disappointed, the food is very fresh and plentiful, the staff are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend that you book as luckily we did, the place was very busy with locals which is always a good reflection of a restaurant!

The Indian food was yummy, especially the goat cheese stuffed naan which we got as an experiment :) We also got Alu Gobi, Banghan Barda, Chicken Tikka Masala, and vegetable corma. They all were delicious. The mango lassi was also very good. If you like Indian food go here.
