Description: Zazie is a small neighborhood bistro in a historic building in Cole Valley, near the upper Haight and UCSF with a gorgeous well heated garden patio. We are famous for our American style brunch, served seven days/ week, but dinner is the hidden gem- country French cooking at it's best served with warmth.

I've been here 4 times and I'm always surprised how consistently good it is. This a little piece of Paris with a California twist For the sweet tooth try the French Toast Tahiti stuffed with caramelized bananas and walnuts. Or try what they call the miracle pancake. This is a weekly specialty pancake. I had the lemon ricotta pancake with... More

First and foremost kudos to our charming French waitress who really made the meal particularly special; We were served graciously and promptly, without ever feeling rushed. I chose Zazie for its close location to a concert we were going to attend, but the experience would've been delightful in itself. Zazie is a charming, cozy neighborhood restaurant with a delightful heated... More

Ever since Italian food eclipsed French food as so popular, I have missed French restaurants. This one is amazing. We were taken for brunch by our hosts and loved it so much we returned the next day on our own. Everything is perfect - delicious classics like Croque Monsieur, perfectly balanced coffee, and a charming outdoor back patio. Missing it... More

Great ambiance out back. Menu seemed a little overpriced for what was received. Great service though and want to go back for breakfast.

Expensive...but what isn't in SanFran? Arrived on a weekday for brunch and it was great. The eggs and pancakes were excellent and the service was outstanding. Great little place to linger with a coffee and plan your day's activities. Try the cherry mimosa and the ginger mimosa. But don't drop the ginger into the drink or you will need extra... More

Zazie is located in one of these nice barrio's in SF. The service from getting a table to the actualc dining was accomodating. The quality of food is one of the best of SF if you for French style. On more hot days and nights the garden is very cosy. For foodies, Zazie is an excellent place to enjoy life... More

You never know what you will walk into in the various neighborhoods of San Francisco. Meeting a friend for dinner and my appetite was screaming for good food. This was great food. While every review I read raved about brunch, I was in search for a great dinner We sat out back in the garden. This is a 'must do'... More

We had family from out of town and were a group of 6 with lots of food "issues". As always Zazie's menu had something for everyone and the staff were wonderfully accommodating. They serve brunch until 2 pm, allowing lots of choices. The trout special was wonderful and the egg dishes are always favorite, as are the salads. Can't wait... More
