Zazie is a small neighborhood bistro in a historic building in Cole Valley, near the upper Haight and UCSF with a gorgeous well heated garden patio. We are famous for our American style brunch, served seven days/ week, but dinner is the hidden gem- country French cooking at it's best served with warmth.

I had the scramble with the roast potatoes and they were great. Actually the roast potatoes were the best part as they came with yummy roasted garlic. My friend had the pear pancakes. They were only so-so, hence 4 stars Service was A+ and no tipping!

Heated garden patio is absolutely charming. We went with another couple. Ordered the coq au vin and it was delicious. The desserts are phenomenal as well. All around a wonderful restaurant. This was my first no tipping restaurant experience in San Fran and prices for entrees very reasonable.

It feels like home. We love seating in the patio in the back and enjoy the good food. Their eggs Benedict are so delicious that we keep ordering the same food. They have a great cobbler and delicious cakes. Great service. It is very busy during the week-ends but well worth the wait. Our place to go for a good... More

My parents and I visited Zazie for a family dinner. We were delighted to see on the menu that no tips were necessary for the servers as the tip was included in the price and all of the employees had medical and 401k contributions. Unfortunately, this meant that service was slow and inattentive at times. For example, we always had... More

Zazzy's means little thief but know could could rob me of the awesome muscles & fantastic duck! We brought or own wine!... More

Had another fabulous breakfast. Plan on 20-60 minute wait. Write your name on the list on the window. Keep in mind that the tables outside can be taken at any point. They are first come first serve. So in some cases you can get an outside seat really fast. I ordered ginger pancakes with pear and lemon curd. They were... More
