Zazie is a small neighborhood bistro in a historic building in Cole Valley, near the upper Haight and UCSF with a gorgeous well heated garden patio. We are famous for our American style brunch, served seven days/ week, but dinner is the hidden gem- country French cooking at it's best served with warmth.

Wonderful menu !

Great little French restaurant highly recommended by the locals, there was a wait when we arrived but it was worth it. Not too pricey but how about a pear mimosa for starters !

Five of us ate here this week for dinner and had a very good experience. Some of the main dishes did not live up to the hype but were still very enjoyable We had a grilled vegetable appetizer and French onion soup which were both very good. We had 5 different entrees and the sauces on a few were not... More

We made a reservation on a Monday at 7:15. Even though a Monday the place was full. Highly recommend reservations. Our server was from Marseille France. Pleasant and knowledgeable. Great small restaurant atmosphere!! Just has a neat feel to it!! Ordered a bottle of Malbec which was served in tumblers (call me old fashioned but I prefer stemware). I ordered... More

Love the option of ordering just one pancake or Benedict. The other wonderful item was no tipping the prices are set for employees to have a living wage and benefits. The food was fantastic and I loved the pancakes which is rare since I am a French Toast person, the mimosa options are great. Parking is impossible so take transit... More

And I am not kidding. great ambience, wonderful food and service. We loved the brunch choices and wanted to be back for dinner but we didn't find a table. It is so popular we should have made a reservation. Oh well, next time!

A very cozy place, you may have to wait for a long time (45 min), but it's totally woth it. The pancakes are out of this world and so are the poached eggs, it was so good that went back our last day in SF. What also impressed us is that they don't take tips, and they have fair wages... More

Rated best outdoor patio in San Francisco, the food service and atmosphere don't disappoint. And all prices INCLUDE the tip! Only thing I could complain about were the metal outdoor tables. Known for great breakfasts and dinners, lunch is good, too.

I am a vegetarian and they did have 2-3 options in the menu for vegetarianis. Nice food along with the coffee. I would suggest to get there before time as there is always a waiting during brunch and parking is hard to find. Also a group of 3-4 people are fine, anymore than that for a table will be cramped... Read the title... Now read it again. The poached eggs over homemade English muffins with homemade hollandaise, crab and asparagus are absolutely to die for. The French toast made from homemade cinnamon songs are so decadent and delicious that you'll melt. This place is heaven in your mouth. Worthy of any wait you need to endure... Just go here! You'll... Wonderful dinner at local's spot best known for Brunch. Nice small wine list with no corkage on Tuesday night. Now accepts, and I suggest, reservations on Open Table. The lemon ricotta ravioli with some added mussels was to die for! Neat back patio and a few street side tables for a nice time outside if you like; fun busy ambiance... More
