Best dim. Sum

We are always happy to eat dim sum at Ton Kiang. Their food is consistently high quality and fairly priced. We especially like the barbecue beef dumplings. Their dim sum eats anything we could find kin Hong Kong.

Dim Sum is served by waitresses bringing the dishes around (as opposed to ordering from a menu). If you are an aficionado you will like the variety of dishes brought around as well as other dishes that can be ordered from the menu. The food and its quality are superb. The lunch crowd begins early and by 11:30 it is... More

After living in San Francisco (native) this is my favorite Chinese restaurant. Food is fresh, consistent, and slightly different from the regular Cantonese style since this is Hakka (a different regional food) Best known for Dim Sum, but about half the time we order a combination of dim sum and regular dishes and they deliver to our house. Restaurant is... More

Our family has been going to Ton Kiang at least twice a month for over twenty five years. We are a American born Chinese and like the fact that the restaurant and it's restrooms are very clean. Patrons do not shout or speak loudly in this restaurant. You can entertain at a table for ten and still hear everyone at... More

We eat dim sum often. Ton Kiang was a terrific option for our Sunday dim sum. The food is fresh, delicious and the staff was even reasonably friendly- a wonderful combination. The food is brought to the tables every few minutes and if you don't see what you want, it can be ordered. Come early to avoid weekend crowds.

Unlike the image of the web picture, the place is actually small and easy to miss. Parking could be a problem in busy hours. Dim sum is delicious but is pretty pricey. Maybe it's San Francisco, you could have the same quality of dim sum in LA with half the price. With more items to choose from.

Really excellent dim sum. Lots of variety. Family, bright atmosphere. The chive dumplings were amazing. Food was carried by hand rather than on trays. All were fresh and the right temperature.

The issue with this restaurant is that the food is really good and they just bring it to your table. It's so hard to say no when it's looking and tasting so delicious. The pork buns are amazing, the chicken tasty and spring rolls delicious. There wasn't one thing we had that we didn't like. The reviews are worthy. It's... More

Our group of seven enjoyed a mid-week dim sum lunch here. Even the kids liked the pork and beef! Nothing too exotic for dim sum newbies but all well-executed. Great prices!

We were staying around the corner and so took a chance on this place- what a great find! Really delicious dim sum (fried shrimp dumplings were to die for) and a cracking Singapore noodle! Worth a visit
