They've still got it!

I've been coming here since 1988 and this tapas joint still packs them in on the weekends and most nights until 9pm, but after that, you can breeze right in. So if you're in the Haight, and you're looking for an excellent bite you can't find a better place that always serves up great tapas.

This restaurant had come highly recommended, and we are so glad we went there. Two of us got the Cuban sandwich, and two other family members would have eaten ours if we had let them. They were really good! The service is great, and the restaurant itself has tons of character. Would definitely eat here again!

I lived in the Haight for many years and this was one of my favorite local places. I love the chicken in cream sauce, the warm bacon salad, and especially the fried potatoes. I no longer live in San Francisco, but believe me, I think about this restaurant all the time. But go for lunch when you'll always be able... More

Great food with a really nice taste! Great ambiance, even though a little too noisy to be able to speak properly. But I will definitely come back here!

Cha Cha Cha on Haight never ceases to amaze me!! Seems the food just gets better every visit. Although the mouth watering sandwichs are very decently priced, go for the tapas .. but be cautious to not order too many!! The warm spinach salad (with mushroons, bacon and a creamy sauce) is to die for. The fried plantains with a... More

If you are looking for Puerto Rican food in San Francisco you can find colorful and tasteful dishes in Parada 22 on Haight Street. If you are looking for food and a cultural experience beyond background music, Cha Cha Cha on Haight is the place to go. This is a place to share tapas and sangria while immersing yourself in... Big Bus tour guide recommended this restaurant while stopping to see the Haights so we did. Service and food were good. A good corner stop to watch the locals walking by.

This is nice small place located on height street. Great service and great food. Friendly staff. Only reason I'm giving four star because of the bread and undercooked chicken in chicken paillard dish. Gravy and sauce are amazing. Loved it. Fried new potatoes are excellent. Must try dish. Sangria is another disappointing but I think it's close to standard taste.... More

Cha Cha Cha is in the Haight area of San Francisco. This is a good place to come for happy hour. I like theri Sangria. I like their calamari, chicken wings, and for dinner entree their jerk chicken. Service is friendly.

Fun atmosphere and delicious food! Walking distance to shops in the historic Haight Ashbury area of San Francisco. I went in the summer and there was a wait but nothing terribly drastic. The food was eclectic and the company was tops. Even the locals live it.

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighborhood Profile
Haight-Ashbury
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighborhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
